    So this is awesome: my church, Trinity Lutheran St. Joseph, has a new vicar who just so happened to have had my grandpa as his principal in grade school back in Utica, MI!!! Small world, right? :D

      I used to be a stranger

      That reminds me-- My dad's name is Duane, and so is my Pastor's at our local church. More than 20 years ago, my Dad was the counsellor at a Bible camp, and Duane [our present Pastor] was a camper in the same cabin as he was. Even more than that, his dad and my dad's dad (My grandpa) both sang in the same Men's choir for a time at a certain church.

       

      God loves making big worlds small. :)
