@PH: no, not really. I haven't really made it a secret on the forums that politically I identify as a conservative, namely, a moderate, Neo-mugwump conservative (don't feel bad if you don't get the neo-mugwump term, it's really something that my American Studies professor came up with). Frankly, Obamacare sounds (1) like an unnecessary expansion of government power and (2) a potentially fiscally disastrous program.

Now that's not to say that health care in this country is by any means perfect, nor do I really have an alternative solution of my own to offer, but I certainly don't think that government intrusion into the health care industry is the answer to fixing it.

I am not a fan of Obamacare either, from a fiscal standpoint it makes no sense and it is a completely and total scam cooked up by the insurance companies. We the people are being forced to buy the same insurance from the same companies that have been ripping us off, I even read or at least as much as I could stomach and it is the most legalize gobledeygookish thing I have ever read in my life. And I am saying this as a guy who has read a lot of legislation.
