Oh man, hope ya'll are staying safe in this winter weather! Had to call in and tell the store I work at I couldn't come in tonight for the second day in a row; plows STILL haven't gone through our subdivision, and the snow's 2 feet deep in some places! Stay safe everyone, worst should be over soon, unless of course you're out East, then you're probably getting slammed as I type.

@Sunlight: the wind's been even more incredible! We were getting 40mph winds Sunday night through pretty much all of Monday, and in some places the drifting was 5 feet deep! Sometimes I'd look out the window and it looked like vid you sometimes see of Antarctica out there, well, except for all the houses, but yeah, crazy I tell ya.

Oh wow, that sounds hot! We always joke around here that Michigan has the most bizarre weather, because for how far north we are, you'd be surprised just how hot we can get in the summer. But yeah, even by our standards it's been a rough winter so far; farmer's almanac that came out this year said it would, so it looks like they were spot on in that prediction.
