Maybe I should write a fanfic about my OC and Rarity... nah, OCxCanon is pretty much reviled in any fandom.

I've seen OCsxCanon done right, but not often and usually only with supporting characters, not main characters. Still, it's strange that it's that hard to get right; I guess the trick with it is that there's a huge risk of writing the OC, the canon character, or both as Mary Suish in their relationship.
