    Just turned in my American Studies Senior Thesis on the modernization of the Western in film since the 1950s. Final count: 64 pages/ 22,002 words + a bibliograpy. Feeling pretty good right now. BD

      But.. you wrote a 64 page paper.. I don't even know how to get that many ideas, typings its one thing, but dang.

       

      I thought the fact we have a 10 page paper for when I do senior project in a couple years was intimidating..

      My high school freshman self would probably have thought the same thing; trust me, when you get to be a college senior, it won't seem so far fetched, but will also feel doable. :) Have no fear friend, it's a long way off yet! Enjoy high school while it lasts! :)

      I guess, I just hate research papers, I don't even mind writing much, they just put all kinds of restrictions on stuff and school and take most of the fun outta it.

       

      Its not really all that long, heck i'm already gonna almost be a sophmore.. Highschool is going way to fast. I'm trying to enjoy it at like hyperspeed :P.

    God of chaos vs. queen of love parasites? Going with the god of chaos on this one, easily; on another note, why is it that Chrysalis is always the one compared to him? I get that she beat Celestia and had any army, but as far as raw power goes I think that the closest contender of the main villains to Discord would actually be Nightmare Moon. After all, it took the Elements of Harmony to vanquish her (twice) same as Discord, something that wasn't required with Chrysalis or Sombra.

    Sent them already in a couple of other places, but I hope that you had the most wonderful of birthday's Feld0!!! Since I discovered this site over a year ago, it's been a fantastic stress reliever and place to hang out online with some wonderful fellow bronies, yourself included! Thanks for always keeping this site so well-run and organized, continuing to innovate it, and for putting up so patiently with all of my inquiries, especially if I ever encounter a glitch. You're a great pal Feld0, and a great guy, and don't ever let either of those two traits change. Happy Birthday!!! BTW: Awesome wallpaper Marco, very, very cool indeed!

    Is it sad that I knew exactly what video you were talking about the second I read the description (gosh I watch way too many pony vids... wait, scratch that, that's simply not possible )? Eh, whatever, anyway, as requested, here's the vid you were looking for. I know I've posted it in this thread before, so I'll be sure to post a second vid. Enjoy. (PMV's name is "Musical Film - Wake up Applejack" and the song is "Little Talks" by Of Monsters and Men, and yes, it is a fantastic vid, probably still my favorite AJ PMV) Been in this human world for a little over a week now, still no new developments from my initial disturbing findings of "Project: EG". However, sad to say, and I can't believe I'm saying it, that human tried to take RD's book AGAIN!!!!! OK guys, don't you think things are getting a little extreme now? I mean for all we know, RD might've just crashed a 747!!! AND WHERE THE BUCK DID SCOOTALOO COME FROM?!?!

    10/10 wanted to say this earlier (until ninja'd by Blue Moon ) but I love the juxtaposition in the contrasting two words in your name, plus the lovely avvie compliments the name nicely.

    Eh. Appealing an idea as that initially sounds, realistically it'd never happen. Don't get me wrong, Derpy and the Doctor are hands down my favorite ship and favorite background ponies, but that ship originated in and belongs in the fandom and fan-canon; Derpy's only had a couple of lines (and we all know how that turned out ) and the Doctor himself has had about just as many, so really there'd be no reason to create a spin-off series of those two. The most likely spin-off series they'd ever create (and I still wouldn't want it, because personally I think the role they play in the show as it is is fine, and a spin-off would quickly get redundant) would be a CMC spin-off series.

    And thus did ~Chaotic Discord~ blow his flugelhorn, and all was made chaotic... and then, for some strange reason, all was made even more organized than before. And there was much lolling. Well, at least, that's how it happened in my head canon anyway. Sounds like some really good changes made man. Always glad to see ya'll working so hard to keep this place nice and tidy for all of us. Quick question, just out of curiosity: why do new members need 40 posts to see topics in the Debate Pit (just curious is all )?
