    Wooh, all done putting together and printing up a fun little presentation on the Battle of Khe Sanh and the U.S. media's involvement. Was a lot of fun putting together actually, at least for this history buff. :)

    Like I said, I don't think it is either, but I do think that it gets about as close to capturing the show's formula as a comic book ever could, and hey, I have nothing wrong with that, cause all the means is more ponies for me!

    Oh heck no, and I've read three of the four issues so far. I'll say this, though; to the comic's credit, it's gotten about as close down to nailing the show's formula, in story telling, characterization, and even humor, as a comic book ever could. Seriously, if you haven't yet, check it out, it's worth the read! Really fun story that's very true to the show, at least I think so, and the art's very good as well.

    Why isn't there an "ALL THE BUCKING TIME" option? Seriously, when you're a senior in college, that's all... you... ever... do, well, that is, when you're not writing! Course, I never get to pick any fun reading, not that I dislike what I do have to read; most of it's worth the read, and there are quite a few hidden gems, though after awhile, some of the political texts all start to sound the same. Still, reading "Mr. Sammler's Planet" right now, which is amazing, and I'll be starting a third reading of "The Killer Angels" soon, which is still the greatest historical fiction novel I've ever read, and probably my favorite war novel ever, so that'll be a lot of fun!

    Oh that Canada censorship's nothing, you should see what I found out on a "Worst of MLP in Foreign Languages" video tonight. Get this, in Turkey, about 5 episodes between Seasons 1 and 2 were BANNED ( the most puzzling being "Showstoppers," seriously, I can't figure that one out), and quite a few scenes were skipped in numerous episodes in Turkey. Man, certainly sucks to be a Turkish brony!

    Ughhh, finally done with my American Political Thought essay! Gosh, I hate writing on theoretical concepts; give me a history essay any day, thank you very much, historical narratives are my forte!

    THANK YOU, this is exactly what I've been saying! DF and I agree, we don't know who the buck this is supposed to appeal to?!?! These designs look far too bizarre and confusing for younger viewers, but the only teenage girls I can see being attracted at all by this would already be pegasisters, and that's a very, very limited demographic. These designs, they're just... ughhh, bizarre, as is the whole premise. Like I've said before also, if this isn't supposed to be in continuity, then what the buck does that mean!!! Does this mean that there's a multiverse in the pony universe, like DC comics?!?! This is just getting more and more infuriatingly confusing!!!

    Oh yeah, like I said in the OP, these should definitely be as passive and unintrusive ways to encourage members checking for duplicate threads as possible. An interstitial page, although it probably would be effective, would definitely be going too far, and like you said, just be really annoying. Another idea I just thought of would be posting a reminder to search for duplicate threads in the "New Topic" area itself that pops up when someone clicks on the "Start New Topic" button to create a new thread. There's plenty of space in that area for a friendly reminder to be placed, and that could also be a nice and effective way to further prevent duplicate threads getting posted.
