    FINALLY finished Assassins Creed 3, 100% sync and everything (no, I'm not a bad gamer, I just haven't gamed that much this year :P). Honestly, while there were parts about the game I loved, it was quite frankly one of the most frustrating gaming experiences of my entire life. Some stuff was just really sloppy about the gameplay and the way it was all put together. Plus the historical interpretations of Ubisoft's writers annoyed me to no end.

      The Templars have been better written in previous titles, but it was ridiculous how much better written they were in AC3. At least Desmond was awesome (though going back to my annoyance with their interpretation of history in these games, can I just add that Shaun is the biggest snide arsehole ever! And the writers completely threw George Washington, one of the most remarkable figures in world history, under the bus)

      I found the ending of Assasins Creed III to be very disappointing, there were so many unanswered questions yet at the same time it didn't really feel like a true cliffhanger either. I kind of thought they were going to make another one about Conner so I overlooked some of this but because IV is about Edward Kenway I don't think I can.

      Yeah, considering it was the end of Desmond's story, it felt very rushed. I mean, he bucking saved the world, but it felt like they were more concerned with the bottom line and setting it up for a sequel rather than closing out his story with dignity. Contrast it to Halo 3: sure that game did kind of set up Halo 4, but it still closed out the original Halo trilogy with appropriate dignity, epicness, and respect.

    Hooray! Christmas season is officially upon us! Put ornaments on our main tree this morning with my mom and sister before the latter headed back to college, and just now finished up decorating a smaller tree downstairs. Hope you all have a happy, blessed, and joyous holiday season! :)

      Oh yeah, Pinkie was as well, she just wasn't in it as much as Rarity. I just about died when Rarity started scolding the castle for being "ungrateful". ;)

    You've been on a Rarity kick lately with your avvies. I take it you were very pleased with her gut-busting performance yesterday? She totally stole the show with her little subplot with Fluttershy as far as I'm concerned; I seriously couldn't stop laughing when she started ranting at the castle about how ungrateful it was! XD

      Oh yeah. Was working for a lot of the time, but we had a great meal with my sister and grandparents (who are being super supportive of my mom and us, such a blessing considering before we thought they wouldn't be with the divorce business) and some great leftovers to boot. Got to see Thor 2 with my mom and sis, and that was super fun! Sis just took off back to Grand Valley; just 2 weeks of classes left for her and she'll be back for Christmas!

      However spike has got some nice funny moments to, at least to me since I enjoy sarcasm :P. and that line about sarcasm with twilight was funny :P.

      It doesn't just apply to the United States...at least conceptually. Thanksgiving is all about being thankful for your life, family, and things you have experienced. The meals are just ways we celebrate this thankfulness.
