Interesting theory; whatever the reality of the situation is, it doesn't change the fact that the songs are some of the greatest segments of the show for me. It is soooooo rare, especially today, to not only find a TV show that not only consistently has musical segments, but also consistently has FANTASTIC musical segments!!! Props to the entire musical team at Studio B!!! You guys rock!!!

Considering that all of the Mane 6 have been described as being in their early-to-mid teens, the most I'd expect would be perhaps minor crushes that last for an episode or so, but simply for the purpose of teaching a lesson in friendship. I highly doubt that we'll ever see long-term relationships for any of the Mane 6, unless the series lasts for quite a few seasons and, as a result, some progression in character story-arcs is called for, in which case such a scenario would be reasonable, at least for one or two of the Mane 6.

Yeah, RD's house really is freakin' massive!!! Wonder how she came to acquire it? Or maybe it's more like an apartment complex where all of the pegasi in Ponyville live; probably not, but ya never know. Another question that just came to me; where does Pinkie live? I know she spends all of her time at Sugarcube Corner, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't live there with the Cakes. Somebody correct if I'm wrong.

This probably sums up my whole reaction to the article in question: Lol, all joking aside, I already posted in this thread that I'm a conservative, but I want to go a little deeper into this. I want all my fellow bronies and pegasisters to know that there are millions of conservatives such as myself who, although we hold fast to our moral, political, religious, or philosophical beliefs, are not irrational, close-minded extremists, but rather rational, level-headed, reasonable, and overall friendly and likeable people. I for one have no respect for most forms of so-called "news-media" in our society, whether it be left or right leaning, but I will say this about conservative media. Conservative media outlets are more likely to run some very stupid article or segment such as the article posted in the thread, or the even older Fox News segments attacking bronies, because, although both left and right wing media seldom if ever properly research many news stories, right wing media also has a persecution-complex. This is honestly not that surprising, since traditionally most media or entertainment industries in America have tended to be left-leaning, and so, as a result, right-wing media distributors always feel like they are a minority in the entertainment industry and as such are, for lack of a better term, jumpy and kind of paranoid, always looking to go on the attack and vehemently advocate conservative values at the slightest sign of anything that even mildly resembles a supposed "threat" to conservative values. This is by no means an excuse for any conservative persecution of MLP: FIM, or anything else that they attack which in truth is harmless *cough* Mass Effect *cough*, and I am just as disgusted by their attacks against MLP as I am whenever a left-leaning media outlet unfairly judges anything as well. On behalf of the millions of loving, rational, and reasonable conservatives out there, I apologize to my fellow bronies and pegasisters for the actions of a minority of right-wing extremists and all around bad journalists, who unfortunately have a large presence in conservative media. No matter how bad any of the haters ever get, just remember: LOVE AND TOLERATE THE **** OUT OF THEM!!!

Like everyone else has been saying, it would depend on the quality; however, considering G4 seems to be in full swing right now, and, unless someone really high up at Hasbro is mad, shouldn't be cancelled anytime soon, I'm not G5 for now. I'm just gonna strap in and enjoy the G4 ride for all it's worth!

I imagine that her appeal to a certain sub-group within the community is quite simply this; she showed up in only one episode, but, with her GIANT EGO, managed to leave a major impression on some of the fans, so now they're curious to learn more about her. Honestly, I don't really care for her character that much, but I wouldn't be opposed to her showing up in the show again, and maybe, just maybe, growing as a character from her ego-centric persona into a, dare I say it, likeable and friendly pony! Eh, but who am I kidding, that's just wishful thinking; after all, the Great and Powerful Trixie is already perfection incarnate!!!

As far as I'm concerned, Trixie's a carnie with an ego problem ; she probably travels from town to town much as the traveling sales-ponies the Flim-Flam Brothers do.

When I saw that the picture on top of the article was of G3, I knew right away that this guy didn't know two bits about G4; still, read bits of the article anyway, to my disgust, and it is quite disgusting. The worst part of it all is, I'm a conservative Christian, and I will be the first to admit, most of the criticism of bronies probably comes from the right, sadly, especially people who simply haven't seen 2 seconds of G4 and have no clue about what they're talking about!!! UHHHH!!! It's freakin' embarassing for the millions of rational and level-headed conservatives out there like myself when the nut-job extremists pull crap like this; but hey, there'll always be nut-jobs, right?
