    Go for it! I've personally corresponded on a frequent basis with Chengar in the past and exchanged creative ideas with him, and I can tell you from personal experience that he's super helpful. This should certainly be a good opportunity for many writers here to get some great tips from some seasoned authors and editors.

    That's Chengar for ya; his stories are normally much longer (even the one-shots) and far more developed, and he even has some war epics mixed into his slice-of-life/comedy/drama fare, but that's pretty much him in a nutshell. Great writer, solid command of characters, and terribly good at comedy, as well as mixing it in with more serious and dramatic plots.

    No idea if anyone's asked this yet, but ever been to any brony conventions, and if so, was it a blast? Given that I've been in the fandom over 3 years now myself, I'm rather ashamed I haven't made it out to one yet myself (though in my defense, Michigan is like one of the worst places to be situated for getting to one, all the summer ones are far away and the closest ones to me are at the busiest times of the year ).

    Good afternoon, citizens of MLP Forums! Do you know what it's time for? It's time... for some shameless self-promotion!!! That's right Kermit, yay indeed. But first, I've got some exciting, super-duper, awesome, stupendous, fabulous, muffinlicious news (for me ). I... finally got featured on Fimfiction!!! Yup, there it is, second to last on the feature page! And let me tell you, it was the most anti-climactic thing ever! No, really, I have no idea how it happened, it was up there about 2 minutes after I uploaded the new chapter. But ya know what, I will take it! This has been something I've been working towards since I first joined Fimfiction in 2013, and even though it was probably the result of long-term statistics on my fic, it's still oh-so-sweet. So to any of my readers from MLP Forums, thank you so much for the support you've given to me that's kept me writing and managed to finally get me a Fimfic feature (special shoutout to my BFF DashForever, my long time editor and pre-reader who continues to give me a ton of help and advice with my fic)! That brings me to my second bit of news. I've just uploaded the first of two new chapters for Batmare Begins! Took me quite awhile to get them written up, but considering I finally managed to get my first feature on Fimfic, totally worth it! To all my old fans and longtime readers, I hope you very much enjoy this chapter and the next one, which will be uploaded tomorrow. To anyone's who's not a reader yet, I'm always happy to have new readers and would very much love it if you gave it a shot. I have just uploaded the first of two new chapters for my ongoing fanfic, Batmare Begins, starring none other than the lovable Derpy Hooves. This also happens to be the first chapter of Act 2, and the second of these new chapters will be uploaded tomorrow around this time as well.     Oh my, these are all incredibly lovely! Danish Toenails' piece probably has the most unique style of the bunch, but I had to go with Lucky Lass's piece on this one. But great job to all 5 nominees, all your pieces look great!

    Wow, seriously? It's been out for almost a month now, but nobody's posted PONIES: The Anthology 5 yet? Oh well, better late than never! Seriously, if you haven't watched this yet, as with all the previous entries, it is hilarious, with a capital 'H.' Word of warning, there are quite a few sketches that contain explicit language, but nothing in the way of graphic content. Without further ado, here you all are, enjoy!
