    Guys, I just wanna say that even though I speak Filipino, I was born in America and was taught Chinese. Many of my friends in real life who don't speak Filipino expect me to mumble and struggle speaking English. I was born a Filipino, but I can speak English as well. I even know more English than Filipino!

      I was born into a family that speaks a language other than English that I still haven't bothered to learn. It's kind of awkward being surrounded by people speaking a language that I feel like I should have learned as a little kid but didn't. XD

      I was also encouraged to speak Fookien ( a Chinese dialect) and Cantonese (Also a Chinese dialect) but so far I haven't

      learned a lot. I only know about 1-2 Fookien words and no Cantonese at all.
