News on G5 has been released. Apparently gonna take place in the same universe just a time jump forward and my thoughts are....
WHY?
I was hoping they would just stop with FIM. Let it be put to rest. But nope here we go.
Imma still check it out but don't have high hopes.

hmmm interesting. Idk I feel that there are many things out there that go on way too long and lose quality. FIM is one of those things for me. And now it's technically gonna go on even longer.
Of course if they just make the show like entirely new then it could work, which is why I'll still check it out but if it's just gonna be standing on the crutches of fim with references, fanservice, cameos, and Easter eggs then it won't. Using the old world to create an entirely new one.
Similar to what KOTOR I and II did with star wars and not what star wars is doing right now with all it's new material.
