  1. Just watched Shang-Chi and it was alright. Definitely got bored waiting for something big to happen. A good portion of the CGI was boring to watch. Car commercial scenes were drawl.

Also Hotel California, awful karaoke song cuz you either have to stop the song before it's over or have wait around for the solo to finish. hehe

Glad they didn't put emphasis on romance tho between the two main characters.

Awkwafina of course does no wrong, always love her. <3 I def. think she should try to steer clear of comedic roles (she does them well of course!) and stick with more drama like how she was in "The Farewell." No shame on her for being in Shang-chi obviously! Marvel is like the biggest thing in the world. Take the fucking job :ButtercupLaugh:

Great choice. Unbreakable is one of the best origin stories for a hero ever made.

I know this puts me in the minority, but I haven't enjoyed this take on Spidey so far. I think Holland is a good actor and plays the role well, but I've always hated how much they tie him to Tony Stark and the larger MCU.

What was your number 1 performance of 2019?

Yea love that movie <3 Split was amazing as well <3 and then m night ruined it with glass </3

I've heard many people say that and you know its whatever on my end. I know people want uncle ben n whatever but I think him being tied to Tony and larger mcu works well as its own thing.

      Joaquin Phoenix in Joker

Split was great too, but I actually liked Glass more. Wasn't perfect and I felt like David Dunn was very underused, but I found the story to be pretty interesting and unexpected at points (And James Mcavoy was great as Kevin once again). Though I get why it's pretty polarizing.

Speaking of M Night, I recently watched his newest film Old. Pretty disappointing. Good premise for a thriller, good cinematography, and a few decent moments of suspense get bogged down by bad dialogue, mostly subpar performances, and a disappointing twist ending.
