The first 9 episodes of season 6 are like <3 <3 <3 fantastic, with the series premiere being the exception tho I give it some leeway for being the opening like still interesting cuz it's the start.
Especially with Episode 9 being "Saddle Row Review," which I can definitely put into argument as being the best episode in the show. And then "Applejack's Day Off" comes along and it's like uggggggggh.

@Spidey10Well of course his part was strongest the episode was centered on him.
And yea I agree. Final Season I liked as well but was easily the least quality of them all imo. A big part I think was focusing too much on the mane 6 like if it's season 1 and not like it's season 9. They should've been in strong secondary mentor roles.

@Miss I'm different. I always watch the show for the Mane Six and a couple of others. I hate it when they're sidelined.

Well I get still focusing a lot on the Mane Six since those are the main characters we love and that was season was going to be the end of their story (At least for now as I think there's a chance they return in the G5 film in a similar way we got The Pillars in Season 7). But they could've also done more episodes with them in the mentor like roles and some supporting characters more time to shine/develop.
