  1. Saw a guy on a different forum say "I'm probably the only brony that listens to metal." Told him he's not. Then said "I mean this kind of metal" and links Asking Alexandria. Still confused on if he meant scene or in terms of heaviness because AA is not that heavy. Also not a fan.

      I think 'fo sho' kinda sums it up.

      It seemed to me like it puts on a show of being metal, while not actually BEING metal.

      Then again, I don't know how to define metal more accurately than yelling and specific guitar riffs.

      I feel like if somebody wanted to define modern metal System of a Down are the main bands to name. They don't put on a show, they play music from the heart. Their music is always about very serious things and is of a more alternative/folk style yet still metal.

      If there was a band or bands I would describe as putting on a show of metal I would name scene bands like Pierce the Veil or other bands like Attila where it's just like what?
