oh wait, I figured out what you were trying to say.

People in life have parents most of the time. Glimmer has two parents (a mom and a dad) and we never saw how they got together they just were. They are supporting characters. Bow has two parents as well (two dads). We never saw how they got together they just were. They are supporting characters. Asking for an explanation for every queer couple in a show as a means of critique sounds very ridiculous as for some reason it's alright for every single straight couple in a show just to exist without explanation.

When it comes to The Owl House, you only saw 4 episodes. They might not show her being "not straight" but they also didn't show her being "not bi." One should actually watch the show before critiquing it. There are 17 episodes now. Lots of things have happened.

If a queer romance/character feels shoehorned in to you, it's not because someone is trying to force it or because someone is on the bandwagon it just means the writing probably isn't that great in your opinion. Similar to movies/tv with straight romance that just isn't written well.

You say "I didn't mean anything bad with the queer stuff" but honestly reading your responses. That's what it sounds like.  It sounds like you're saying "These characters are not that great so they should just be straight." Gay characters like gay people should just be allowed to exist, there doesn't need to be some justification for every single lgbt character. Sounds toxic.

True ..... I guess its just me thinking that if someone is putting a gay character on the show. To me its like * oh no! now they're doing this so theyll get lgbtq support and money*... I should really  stop thinking negatively:okiedokieloki: thanks for the heads up @Miss and i guess i need more adjustments and improvements on my point of view.... And sorry for the trouble i made

No worries. That's possible I guess for example a company that makes lgbt people seem wrong or supports anti-lgbt stuff etc. and then you see them have rainbow stuff, but at the same time it;s just like lgbt exist so having them in a form of media isn't always forced/for negative reason. Also like the writers for She-ra and The Owl House are queer in real life too so of course they wanna make characters that are like them. But in general writers wanna make characters who just happen to be lgbt because why not? They exist so fuck it. Shows for the most part are meant to reflect real life and speak to their audience, all kinds of audiences, which includes people like myself who are queer.
