    Loving Season 2 of "The Owl House" so much so far!! 

    I've watched season 1, 4 times. And now rewatching again and will catch up by the time season 2 is done so I could rewatch that as well jajaja

    (even though I'm already rewatching every new episode that comes out jajaja)

    It's rare when I contemplate myself being in the fandom at an earlier point but when I do a few things come up. 1. I would be in high school and there were no other bronies there. 2. I don't think there would be anyone I could talk to about it. 3. People might've tried to bully me and I would have stood up for myself. Give these bullies a taste of their own medicine perhaps. 4. When I discovered mlp:fim I was in college living in a dorm with my roommate (who happened to be a brony too). I had the privacy to do some self introspection and honestly I probably couldn't be able to handle all the emotion mlp gave me in the toxic environment of my old home. So yes I am happy I discovered it when I did. 5. The only other thing that comes up are milestones, past conventions, possible friends, etc. that I could have been a part of in the fandom earlier. Of course, I was also in high school and didn't have a job and the job I did have ehhhhh. Conventions and travel would likely not have been feasible.

    I love all the seasons except season 8 and 9. I only like those seasons. I'm gonna say season 9 is the worst.

    Well on my laptop, depending on what I'm doing I'll usually have 2-5 Or like 50. But on my phone I currently have over 100 so.....yea

    Well when I first joined it was definitely to contribute to the fandom and find like minded individuals to discuss the show with. Then it became actually making friends in real life somehow. Unfortunately, that never really happened as no one on this site really lives near or goes to the same conventions as me. So after that (especially since covid) it became a good place to vent and have good discussion. And also a nice chat every now and then.

    but technically I switched playing one game for another jajaja

    Just finished the From the New World And it was a pretty interesting complex anime (based on a novel), but nothing too emotionally enticing about it for the most part. Overall, I liked it and was semi tempted to read the manga cuz I thought it wasn't complete. But I looked for the manga online and it's nothing like the anime. so LEWD. So that was very disappointing. Made me cringe just looking at it. But turns out the Anime is just based on the Novel and not the manga. And the Anime and Novel have the same ending so def. was not a waste of time.

    My Next Life As a Villainess: Incredible anime! Season started up recently and I'm loving it sooooo much! First season proved to be my fav anime series and made me cry every episode on a rewatch. Awkwafina is Nora From Queens: Finished watching the season today and I love Awkwafina so much. Very funny show, but one episode was not good I'd say. New season next month, excited for that. Yes!!! I love The Owl House! I also keep up with that show! Love it so much I rewatched season 1 multiple times and want to ago now that season 2 is out. That show has made me cry so much. I love. Easily becoming one of my fav shows of all time. Currently my 6th fav, but if season 2 keeps up this great track I could easily see it being bumped up.

    Bought my tickets to see the "Shirobako" movie next month! Super excited! 

    Also a little while ago I bought my tickets for Riotfest (chicago) in September so very excited for that as well.

    Looking to buy some tickets to see "Weathering With You" next week now :D

    Just finished another rewatch of Avatar: The Last Airbender!

    Still amazing obviously 

    Still my 3rd/4th fav show of all time (The Owl House will prob. eventually surpass if it stays on its track) 

    And yup made me cry hella times. New fav character list:

    I've met two people from this forum. One that I knew before I friended them on this website and one I met from this website and then saw them at a convention. There has been discussion of meeting people in the past but it never ended up happening. Honestly it surprises me that I've met so few people considering how many conventions I've been to. Mostly midwest conventions but there are a good amount of bronies from the midwest here. Also went to bronycon 2019. I'm always down to meetup jaja

    I'd check it out, but would I like it?? Ehhhh I think a big reason why I love mlp so much is it's G/PG nature, so yea I doubt I'd enjoy it.

    I wanna say yes, but at the same time I thought I'd never like it. For time I heard of bronies was 2014, and I thought it was cool. and even if I didn't check it out until late 2015 the seed was already planted. I just needed some confirmation bias that this show would actually be worth the watch. My only experience with mlp was gen 1/gen 2 as my sister watched those and I did not enjoy those; however, I did notice that fim looked visually superior imo. It took about a year and a quarter to finally get that confirmation bias but yea it was a long time coming that I would eventually check out this show. It was on my mind like "i'm gonna love this show. I could feel it."

    Starting to feel like I'm not close to some of my friends anymore. And like they don't care to get close. We only interact when we're in group. And it's almost like I'm 3rd, 4th, 5th wheeling. 

    Sigh. 

    Also I'm sick right now. Also decided I'm going to quit my job. I've been off for practically a week (minus a day). A good decision, one that's been a long time coming, but like now I have two more weeks to work before I can. Ugh.

      That is what many of friends feel and I too have that moment when I felt nopony cares for me. Those feelings are very rare now but I can still understand the pain of being left out. I hope you cheer up, Miss

      I know the feeling. I don't have any friends apart from all of you, it can get definitely get lonely but just remember that you have all of us to speak to and we're not going anywhere. :kindness:

    Hmmm I feel like fim was already getting over saturated with stories, particularly ones that don't effect the canon and annoying ones that change the canon too much. Now gen 5 will apparently also take place within gen 4's universe. And if a show like this were to come it would also change alot of what he have already seen about Celestia and Luna's past (I def. Would not want it about the present as that would be boring, and same with the future). So I would watch it but I feel like it would just become stale. Yes I'm saying this prior to gen 5 but Gen 4 already lost alot of steam by the end and gen 5 is gonna technically pick up the same themes, tone, etc. So like over saturation is likely.

    One of my friend group has a couple that has this PDA problem and I hate PDA. I've told before when they were over my house not to do it and they didn't. 

    But now I'm part of another friend group and bruh they also have a couple who is constant with the PDA. Gotta remember to not sit within them in my eyesight.

      yea I'm trying to learn Tom Sawyer on the drums and was trying to do it with just an instrumental track but was thinking that someone would want to sing as well so tried finding a cover version but even then just bad vocal structure imo as well.

    Damn my vocals, specifically screaming vocals, have improved.

    Similar to bronystate, equestria.tv, etc. and how they would livestream the new pony episodes the day/time they came on tv.

    There was a girl on a bike riding down my block blasting discord (the boring remake version) so I started singing along 

    And she smiled etc. But didn't stop or anything 

    I was even wearing a twilight sparkle beanie XD

      Yeah, even having heard TLT's remix as my first MLP fan song, I really wish the Eurobeat Brony original was the one getting all that attention...

      I've heard the song is popular on TikTok now, maybe she didn't even realize it was an MLP song (I read some people think it's about the Discord app). :please: But still quite cool!
