Couldn't be as bad as my brother. For his birthday he had the choice between a sushi bar or a steakhouse. He chose the steakhouse, not yet realizing it had been replaced with a Golden Corral. When we got there, he decided to eat there instead because "we're already here anyway"
Ended up ruining his birthday dinner pretty bad lol

2nd time doing some online clothes shopping since pandemic started.
First I just bought like fishnets and those all looked good and a skirt and the skirt was ok fitting.
Just did a big buy! Hoping it all fits good on me, cuz returning clothes is a biiiiiiiitch.

Back in college I wore a pony shirts couple times and nothing really came much of it. When I went back home I wore them around in the streets and again nothing really came much of it. Was just out enjoying myself

We met at Bronycon 2019 and for some reason never thought about webcam/discord audio call before

If you live in the US, which state would you move to?

New Mexico, California, or Colorado. Warmer and more progressive states. California obviously has access to jobs in entertainment and great cuisine and the beach, New Mexico is not as congested as the other two but still has lots to do, and Arizona has access to skiing. And all three have great scenery -

Yes it's so annoying! I have seen a few LGBT animes and anime with LGBT themes/characters that are genuine and amazing Bloom Into You (more so the manga cuz it's complete), Kase-san (OVA and manga), and Adolescence of Utena (the film is a retelling and continuation of the story from the show). Sweet Blue Flowers was genuine but it's in complete, gonna get the manga soon. The anime itself isn't that great, but mainly because of the fact that it's incomplete. Revue Starlight and Sound! Euphonium for animes that have "romance"/loving relationships that aren't as explicit. My Next Life as a Villainess doesn't have explicit romantic relationships, but does have genuine wholesome romantic attraction. Fragtime OVA is great but starts off kind of weird. Later is definitely genuine.

Well this is the "anime discussion" thread so dont even need to bring up western media. And yea definitely: my favs are bloom Into You, my next life as a villainess and Kase-san. Other good ones that weren't as explicit are Yuri on Ice and Revue Starlight. But this anime I was watching where there was that toxic character trope was from an anime from 2019. And the other times I've seen it were also from recent anime (2015 up). D:

Anypony else sick of the trend in animes where the LGBT character is just portrayed as a pervert or legit sexually harasses another character and it's meant for fanservice or humorous purposes? Any time I see something like that it disgusts me. At work they started giving me less hours. A little upsetting cuz I'm trying to make that bank.
Today, I saw they were busy at the deli (I was stocking the shelves) and the manager was in there so if they needed help then I would assume she would ask me.
Not the first time I felt this way.
Anyway, I started thinking to myself: this is one of those moments where one has to take initiative.
So I asked if I should hop on and sure enough my manager asks me if I want to stay 4 more hours!
So very happy person now

Wow just saw Wolfwalkers and wow this is the best film I've seen that came out in 2020 (well between that and Sound of Metal)
One of those "Fuck I wish I could have seen this in theater" kind of films.

Even tho I'm not that old just this idea of wanting to do thigs for awhile and never doing them. Still can do them and haven't given but daaaamn is it bothersome.
