Just did a cute little photo shoot in my room with my new eyebrows XD
Great pics, but the best one had an issue.
I had my hands in my lap, and the the angle and finger placement made it look like something....like I was holding "something" ahaha

Kinda hate when everypony is being all friendly talken about something they like and somepony comes in the convo. like "that thing sucks."
I would just be like alright ignore this pony and they'll realize they're being annoying and then go away.
But then somepony responds to them like uggggghhhh.
There's a place for those discussions/debates/ARGUMENTS. This isn't one of them.

Just finished watching “The Breadwinner” and it was an incredible film! Doesn’t seem like there are any Afghanistanian people behind the film production so would like to know the inspiration behind the realistic fiction piece. Also would be interesting to watch in the Dari or Pashto language.
loved the art style and the story was powerful. Def. invoked strong feelings of child wonder and Innocence, and the realization of real world fear and pain.

I had like two "bad dreams" last night. They weren't nightmares and they were pretty uncomfortable, the second dreams was like some disaster comedy flick that got too serious sometimes.
Either way, woke up from both dreams cuz I got scared/disturbed. Terrible sleep. Did decide to get 2 extra hours past the time I was supposed to wake up so don't feel totally groggy.
Anyone else have bad dreams last night?

I always felt weird was more of the uncanny. I mean you're a pony fan and I'm assuming you're a harry potter fan? (If you're not then I guess that's weird) So like to dream about the two seems to be like a good dream. Unless you never have dreams like that.
I've always said, a good dream is something you do want to dream about, a bad dream is something you don't want to dream about, and a weird dream is something you didn't even know you could dream about XD XD

As in I used to be a harry potter fan but haven;t thought about it in years. I think it was cause I started reading a fanfiction crossover between MLP and Harry Potter
But yeah I don;t normally have a dream about that.
@Misscellanio see there was Discord doing some pretty weird stuff in the dream, but idk if that's weird cause it's kinda normal for Discord to do weird things

Sister cleaned up my eyebrows tonight! First time I ever got them "done"
Now they don't look like a mess. It's funny because my face looks alot more bright/lively now.
Tomorrow she's gonna arch them so very excited!

Wasn't planning to play the drums today, but that movie hyped me up. Played for an hour.
Back to original schedule.
Also made some french toast grilled cheese sandwiches earlier, and they were delicious.

It was! First sandwich was grilled cheese with an egg (wanted to make it over medium but accidentally popped the yoke). second one was just the cheese, and then I put raspberry jam on the last two slices of bread. Gave one slice to my mom. Saved a second half of the grilled cheese sandwich for later.

You know The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000 is a great episode but I can’t believe Applejack didn’t save any cider for her friends.
And when Pinkie Pie said “I wanted to camp so I told a few others” why didn’t she tell Dash?” XD XD
Also Pinkie Pie didn’t but any cider for her friends in line. XD minor problems I have but still! XD

True, but this is a show aimed at kids. I'm pretty sure that most kids wouldn't think too deeply about how the friendships were portrayed badly in the episode. Even most of the other viewers wouldn't get hung up on the little implications. For all we know, Pinkie might have a perfectly good reason for not telling Dash. I'm not saying that you are taking things too seriously, since I pretty much do the same thing, but am just saying that for the casual viewer, they wouldn't really notice these little details.
And yeah they could have done something else, but I feel like this was good enough for me.
As for sacrificing a character to establish plot, it's often an easy way of getting viewers and readers hooked into the episode. So this method of establishing plot is used in many shows. It's effective (most of the time).

Well the idea that “it’s a kids show” so it could be written badly is a sentiment I don’t agree with. Considering, that the reason I love the show is that it’s written extraordinarily well most of the time. Also I don’t care if kids or other fans don’t get bothered by something that doesn’t mean I should just ignore it. I’m gonna critique it how I felt it should be critiqued.
It was good, but I am a fan of the sentiment that “there’s always a better story.” And in this case it hits.
just because something is used often doesn’t make it the only way things can be done and just because it has proven effective doesn’t mean something else can’t be effective and not sacrifice character. Always shoot for the best story. Of course, like I said before this is a minor issue, but still an issue regardless. It doesn’t ruin the episode but it’s still a flaw that I wish to bring up.

The "it's a kids show" isn't an excuse for it being written badly. I'm just saying that something that kids might enjoy, might not necessarily be exactly what an older viewer would like.
Sure this episode could have been better, but there's much worse mlp episodes out there. I prefer consistently good writing compared to occasionally amazing writing. I feel that this episode was satisfactory and it really showed how much RD loved Cider. I've seen so many memes and seen this (RD loving cider) be brought up positively in many fan-fics, so I guess a lot of people did enjoy this story.
Ofc it's not the only way to do it. I just don't mind stories being done that way. Exposing all these flaws actually makes them seem more human and be more relatable.

I think I might have said this before but I want G5 to be entirely new for the most part. Like there could still be a character named Rainbow Dash, but she does not have to like G4 Rainbow Dash, I don't care if she's stage fright, and loves making friends, and her favorite food is pasta, and is allergic to peanut butter, etc. In fact, I prefer that she does not have much in common with G4.
We already have G4. I don't want to watch G4 again. I don't want G4 to be like some alternate universe fanfiction. New show, not a continuation, nothing is sacred, don't care if anyone who worked on G4 is working on G5, and for the love of Celestia, NO PANDERING OF G4! I want something original.

Just realized that the future Star Wars Days (2 days of watching all the star wars films) that my friends and I have are gonna start with Episode I and then end with Rise of Skywalker XD

Never really cared too much for "Secret of my Excess," I still liked it, but not really too interested. Some message about greed mixed in with the boring love Spike has for Rarity. Spike's dynamic with Rarity was always one of the least interested parts of the show until "Dragon Dropped."
But, just watched "Secret of my Excess" and looking at it as "fight against your own biology" it became alot more interested. A lil bit of "you are not a monster!" as opposed to whatever they were trying to depict with that episode.

I mean it was an interesting take, but def. brought about alot more questions that of course were never gonna get answers and just made confusion. Of course, the logic in a show like FIM should definitely not matter too much, and it really doesn't.
Personally after "Feeling Pinkie Keen" nothing felt too far fetched.
