Started watching My Hero Academia and everything is pretty good (a little redundant here and there with the writing) so far, but there's a big glaring issue. The presentation of momo yaoyoroz. Her outfit is a little too sexualized. Like yes her power comes from her skin, but she could still be wearing a sports bra, or crop top, or bandeau bra and like short shorts and not a short skirt. Also like she's in high school so.........yea.

What is it with anime and having the gay characters be sexual harassers?!
Every time I think I found a great anime, there are these problematic tropes. They would easily be negated if there were LGBTQ characters that were depicted in a good light or even neutral light. sigh.

Just got cast for a VA role! Only a week back into voice acting and things are looking good.
Also apparently an older project I was a part of finally posted so that's also great.
Just gotta keep this momentum I got going up.
Unfortunately haven't been able to sleep recently and I feel like that's going to be my downfall. Gotta fix this soon.

I haven't done much research about Ilhan Omar, but just literally did like an hour of it and found that the "somepeopledidsomething" hashtag is bullshit and people are taking it way out of context. Even the "celebrities" who originally were spreading it deleted their post. But once Trump retweeted the false info it was too late and now everyone thinks she was mocking the firefighters and other helpers during 9/11.
Doesn't take a genius to find the full speech on YouTube and educate themselves.

Pretty much just saying. It’s been something that’s kind of just built up in me and like you, I try to keep from being political on the Forums. It just raises my blood pressure too much.
But I just kind of stared at your post for a while and thought, “OMG I don’t actually want to debate, but if I don’t say SOMETHING, I’m gonna fixate on it all day.”
But I got to say, I admire your ambition to try and find truth. Even if you disagree with someone personally, it’s good to acknowledge when you actually KNOW they didn’t do anything wrong.
Again, I don’t know about this particular situation, but I’ll try to look into it soon.

Started watching this show "Chio's School Road" on Hulu (SPOILER WARNING)
SpoilerThe first episode was alright. Good enough to watch the next. 2nd and 3rd episode were great!
The show is kinda ridiculous, but it hits a sweet spot cuz the characters are dynamic and I can watch it without groaning, but then...
episode 4 happened and I'm just like uhhhhhhhhh. Groan central. There was still some cleverness in the humor half the time, but the other half was like easy "boobs bouncing humor" and then like showing panties and then one of the characters starts being bitch and throws off her character development. Also like the gay character sexually harasses someone and it feels hella off putting, especially cuz they just ending going on through the episode talking normally. And yea....... definitely fought hard not to turn off the TV this time.

Fluttershy's ending, while I understand was supposed to be funny because it was so simple, but still thought it was weak. I mean, Rarity and Spike got like 2 mins each and she had under a minute. Makes her seem boring, but we all Fluttershy is nothing but.

Saw the "Steven Universe Movie" and a movie by the name of "The Farewell" today.
Both were incredible. Both had great performances. And both had me crying multiple times throughout.

Just came home from seeing Terminator and Robocop in the theater!
Terminator is as great as I remember it being and Robocop is actually much more competent than I remember it being.
I remember seeing both alot and the other movies in the franchise alot as a kid cuz they came on pretty often.
Glad I got a chance to see both on the big screen! (even though the crowd was cheering and applauding, but I expected that at an event)
