Just finished watching a movie called "The Spectacular Now" with Miles Teller. Amazing movie and his acting skills are imppecable. Def. reccommend it.

Yea I noticed this as a weak spot in MLP. They make a character seem very important and play a big role in the development of a certain character(s) but they don't continue to build into it later, so then it's like the strength between those two characters never happened.
There is still time in this season to stop that. Bring Ember and Trixie back and have some good interactions to see where these relationships have gone

Just finished Legend of Korra and season 4 is probably my least favorite. Still good, but just not as exciting and unpredicable as the others. This season was pretty darn hilarious tho

Yea I seen the show makers in convention and basically what they mean when they say that is the show doesn't follow what the books or what the comics but the comics and books follow them. (They have mentioned the books before)
I don't see why they shouldn't be canon (besides some continuity errors). There are many great stories in there that the show could have piggy backed off. The only reason they say it's not necessarily canon is so that no one feels compelled to have...
