  1. I swear, the only people who like hackers are the teammates who get carried by them and the remora medics who feed off their kills for assists and doms.

Seriously, hacking is cancer to any game.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you on this.

As a veteran Dark Souls player I feel I have to say that hackers can bring a wonderful sense of... vibrancy and comical randomness. You will, of course, get one or two people that find oneshotting people fun, but they are few and far between. Many "hacks" are usually cosmetic in nature, others consist of people having an emote battle 200ft off the ground, before ascending to the heavens and "falling" to their deaths.

When I used these hacks, I instead chose to be as helpful as I could, assisting people in creating character builds by spawning in weapons or equipment that would have otherwise taken people several runs at the game to acquire.

Of course this is all a moot point because the DS3 team have patched cheating out of their game and someone has gotten hold of the Cheat Engine, which is technically freeware, and is now charging people money for it.

PS: The streamer Otzdarva has a tendency to attract hackers that may otherwise be considered malicious, but instead they, more often than not, end up causing funny "problems" for him.
