I know you say that you aren't certain, but what do you think caused this?

No idea really. I only watched a little bit of Season 7 before I was done with the show, so I can't say the show's content made it worse. I think that the rumors of the show ending and/or getting a movie may have contributed, people tend to theorize when sneak peeks get released, and with a show with fans as dedicated as bronies it may have pissed people off that their theories/ships/endings/fanfic didn't come true before the show ended.

  2. You missed out on a lot of good stuff, let's be honest. I joined the fandom around the end of 2014, a few seasons were out by then. The cringe was there but most people were good-natured and you could actually make some friends.

I dunno what happened tbh, I took a break from the show 'round Season 7ish and by the time I got back it'd turned into a toxic fume pit.

A few years ago it would've been @Jaxsie (Inactive). I really admired her, she seemed like a very genuine and sweet girl, but sadly we broke contact not long ago. We didn't have a thing for each other either, it was really just sincere, genuine friendship, and it sucks that she's gone now. :v

I do have a friend like that now though, she lives overseas but she's very supportive and sweet, even though she doesn't know it. She is a little bit shy, which is understandable, but I've talked with her about deep shit that I've never talked to anyone else about. Can't say her name though, she wouldn't like that.

Well this is pretty old. I actually can't remember exactly which overseas friend past me was talking about. November of 2019 would be when I'd just come *back* from Korea the first time, and at that point there were actually 2 overseas friends that were supportive and a little shy and that I shared deep shit with. One of them ended up becoming my girlfriend, while the other I barely talk to anymore (nothing bad happened, just kinda drifted apart).

But, if I had to say who my favorite woman was, it'd be my significant other, my best friend, and the person who's helped me the most in life, @Summer Breeze.

  4. I've known her about 5 years now, going on 6. We weren't always best friends though, I was a horrible judge of character back then and at the time my best friend was a poisonous leech. She, on the other hand, helped me see this, break free of it, and we're now together as a couple. Even if that doesn't pan out, though, we'd still be best friends. I think that's more important than any romance that we could have.

  5. Honestly, I wouldn't want either. I'd want to be able to support my S/O financially and I don't think I'd be comfortable dating someone if I was struggling that bad.

On the other hand, being rich makes everyone around you really fake, because they're only around you for the money.

    No thanks.

  6. I've only really met one person who ticked the "true friend" box in good faith. Most people over estimate how nice they are, and it really shows in this thread.

As for me, I like to be a central component of a friend group without having too much attention on me. That's how my friend groups are now and it's dope.

  7. Being really careful not to get typos, I'm running at about 110 WPM. It's usually faster for me to correct them as they appear, however, so my usual typing speed is around 120 WPM.

Highest I've ever scored on a typing test is 148 WPM.

  8. Simultaneously best and worst moment was a cavalcade of life lessons that all happened at once. I was, in a very short span of time, taught how to identify toxic people, how to cut them out of my life, how to reconnect with old friends, and what a healthy relationship looks like. It was a bonkers time but I'm better for it.
