I definitely more casual when it comes to completing games. I never really cared too much for achievements or trophies. The only time I cared was when I completed that 10,000 gamerscore challenge on Xbox last year.

I honestly couldn't believe it when I heard the news this morning. As an Xbox fan, I am excited about the news. They are really not playing this generation. Also, I wouldn't worry about a monopoly as there is still plenty of publishers still out there.

Is there any rule about necroposting on the forum? The media discussion is my favorite section of the forum, but all too often I see topics that are years old being revived. Is there anything that can be done about it?

Definitely more of a multiplayer guy. If I could only play single player games, I probably would not game nearly as much as I do. I just find most single player games to be pretty boring. If I have the option to play online with others, I would much rather do that.

I recently finished playing the main story of the Witcher 3 and I was just wondering is the Witcher 2 worth playing?

So, last Saturday I ended up stopping at a thrift store. I immediately go to where the used video games are. I am looking through the Xbox One games and then I see a couple of Gameboy Advance cartridges. I see a red cartridge in there and I am I like no way, it can’t be what I think it is. Lo and behold it’s exactly what I thought it was. A copy of Pokémon Fire Red for the GBA for $2.99. So, I decide to buy it so I can resell it since I know these games are valuable(according to pricecharting, a copy of this game runs about $64). Honestly, I probably would have kept it if I had a Gameboy Advance(and I liked Pokémon), but ultimately, I ended up selling for $50. Why am I sharing this story you? Well, I have gone retro video game hunting in the past, but this is the first time that I have actually found something cool. It just made me so happy. Anyway, what about y’all? What are some of your guys’ coolest video game finds?

What are some superstitions you find strange? Just as an example, as a Hispanic(Mexican to be specific), in our family if someone is staring at a child and saying how cute he/she is, they should make sure to touch the child as to avert the evil eye(or el mal de ojo in Spanish). P.S. Sorry if I did a poor job explaining it.

I only have two consoles; an original PlayStation and an Xbox One X.

So, we are less than a week from the launch of the next gen consoles. Has any one pre-ordered one of them(or both) or planning to buy one this year? Maybe I should say try to buy one because it looks like you might be out of luck if you haven’t already pre-ordered one. Or maybe you are planning to wait until next year?

I enjoy watching Street Fighter V. Personally, I'm not good at that game, but I love watching the Pro players who are.

It's hard to choose one, but I think I would have to say Sonic Mania. It is basically a greatest hits of the original 2D Sonic games.

Hands down the best line in a video game ever.

I truly hope that these games won’t be exclusive to just the Xbox. I am not a fan of making third party games exclusive to one platform. I don’t care who does it. However, this will be good for MS and Game Pass.

I don’t mind it, but it is not something I specifically play a game for. I know Mortal Kombat is kind of known for this kind of over the top violence, but I don’t particularly care for it. Honestly, I find games like The Last of Us brand of violence a little more disturbing than any of the games the OP mentioned.

The major differences between the two are that the Series S has lower specs(supports 1440p instead of full 4K), the S is all-digital(no 4K blu-ray drive), and a smaller 512 GB SSD. It seems to support most of the other features the Series X has. I hope that helps.

Okay so recently I had been really wanting to play Silent Hill 3(probably due to Heather/Cheryl being in Dead By Daylight) again so I ended up buying this collection on the Xbox One since it's Backwards Compatible. I wasn't really familiar with how bad these ports of the game were when they released. I just assumed most of the HD remasters on the PS3/360 were good. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case with these games. I am not really going to go into specific details about these games as you can just look up videos about it on YouTube if you are really interested. It's a shame because I think these games deserved better. Anyway, that being said, having played some of Silent Hill 3, I didn't think it was all that bad. Although to be fair, I literally haven't played this game in years(when I last owned a PS2) so it would be hard for me point out differences to the original PS2 game unless you showed them to me running side by side. Although when you are actually in the town of Silent Hill, the way the fog is rendered seems very off. This is probably one of the most noticeable differences in the game alongside the new dub. It would have been nice had they kept the original dub like they did with Silent Hill 2. In my opinion, the 360 version of SH3 seems to run better than the PS3 version which has an uncapped framerate. Although, I do think the PS3 version got a patch that the 360 port didn't receive. I don't know if that fixed that problem or not. All in all, I do think the port of Silent HIll 3 is serviceable, but if you have the original game on PS2, you probably better off experiencing the game that way.

From the anime I have seen so far, I would say; Death Note, Attack on Titan, Parasyte -the maxim-, Vinland Saga, My Hero Academia, Madoka Magica, and Evangelion.

I think I would have to say Resident Evil 2. It was the first RE game I played.

The only game I really play on a regular basis is Dead By Daylight. I enjoy horror games in general though.

The last movie I watched was "But I'm a Cheerleader." I thought it was a pretty cute movie. It's about a girl who is a cheerleader who gets sent to a rehab center for gays/lesbians and she ends up falling for this other girl while she is there.
