  1. I mostly listen to specific songs. Honestly, there aren't any artists I like listening to that I would listen to an entire album by them.
  2. I think I would have to say the Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack.

    technology Randonautica

So, has anyone heard of this app? If you don’t know what Randonautica is, it is a app for your phone that gives you randomized coordinates depending on what it is you’re searching for. I first heard of it from the scary videos on Nuke’s Top 5. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thecut.com/amp/2020/07/what-is-randonautica-the-app-that-led-teens-to-a-dead-body.html I tried it once, but it didn’t really take me anywhere interesting. If you tried it before, what were you looking for and what did you find? P.S. Only explore during the day and if you can, bring a friend. Thoughts?
  4. So, I think Microsoft has been dropping the ball lately. First, with their Gameplay Showcase and later with their Games Showcase. Halo Infinite did not look great and now it has been delayed. I think it's the right move. Obviously, losing Halo Infinite as a Series X launch title is bad, but I would rather a have a good quality game then have it be broken at launch like Halo the Master Chief Collection. I don't know what is going to be available at launch for the system, but there it does not seem to be much else there. Recently, there has been a rumor regarding the cost of the Series X from the Monster Energy Drink Series X give away. They calculated the cost of the Series X and apparently it's going to be $599 which I have a hard time believing considering how disastrous that price point was for Sony with the PS3. I just can't see it costing more than $499 at the most, but who knows, I could be wrong. If the 599 price tag ends up being true, Microsoft is going to have a hard time selling the console. Regardless of the price, I think the PS5 is going to outsell the Series X for sure. That being said, I wonder how this will play out in the long term. Microsoft no longer sees Xbox as simply as a box to play video games. They want to people to be able to play their games everywhere, not just on their system. Seeing as they're the only ones trying to push things forward in regards to video game streaming. Don't get me wrong I know Playstation has PSNow, but I don't think it is as ambitious as what Microsoft is trying to accomplish. I guess we will see what happens.
  5. https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/political-commentary/covid-19-end-of-american-era-wade-davis-1038206/ I thought this article about the United States was a pretty interesting read.
  6. Los Bukis - Tu Carcel(Spanish) Survive Said the Prophet - Mukanjyo(Japanese) Viva Belgrado - Mas Triste Que Shinji Ikari(Spanish)
  7. Beastars. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this anime or not, but it was actually pretty good.
  8. No, Microsoft doesn't have true exclusives. Everything on the Xbox will be able to be played on PC as well.
  9. So I am probably going to sound a bit jaded here, but I wasn't really blown away or surprised about any of the games they showed today. However, the games they did show looked solid. Some of the games shown were kind of predictable. Like State of Decay 3, Forza Motorsport 8?, etc., I kind of wish they would have shown some actual gameplay for Hellblade 2. For all the talk about the Xbox's power, they didn't really show any game that I would say really showed it off. Halo and Forza look nice though, but nothing that made me say this is truly next-gen stuff. I would give their presentation an 8 out of 10. Good games, but nothing really stood out to me personally.

    gaming LEGO NES.

    Ha, that's pretty cool.
  11. I recently finished Vinland Saga. I would highly recommend it. People have compared this show to the TV show Vikings/Game of Thrones, so check it out if you are into those shows.
  12. I think the part where you play as Ashley in Resident Evil 4 is my least favorite part in the game.
  13. https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2020/07/16/xbox-games-showcase-tune-in/ The Xbox Games Showcase is happening in less than a week. What games are you interested in seeing? Do you want to see a revival of an old IP like Fable or Perfect Dark? Or do you want to see a new IP(s)?
  14. I finished watching Parayste -the maxim- not too long ago. It reminds me of a cross between Invasion of the Body Snatchers/The Thing crossed with a high school slice of life anime.
  15. I kind of feel like the Evil Within 2 is an underrated horror game. It seem like people payed more attention to the first game and kind of ignored the second one for some reason.
  16. I wouldn’t have a problem with paying $70 for game as long as I know there isn’t going to be DLC or micro transactions in said game. That being said, I don’t think it would be worth it if the game has a bunch of DLC and micro transactions in it. For the record, I rarely buy games for $60 because I am cheap. I usually wait for price drops.
  17. This is probably what most people say about bronies as well. Way to generalize people.
  18. I do think good graphics help immerse the player in the game a little more. Obviously, it isn’t everything. The gameplay and sound are important as well. Personally, I love watching Digitial Foundry analyze the graphics of a game.

gaming The Last of Us 2

Like the OP, I watched someone else play the game and watched various videos on YouTube about the game(I also read the leaks about the game before it was released). I think the I saw the main plot points of the game, but if I missed something let me know. P.S. Thanks for making this topic by the way. I know the game is polarizing, but I do think this game warrants discussion. Also, if Laura Bailey doesn't win award for best voice acting for Abby at the Video Game Awards, I am going to be triggered.
  20. I think I am going to say the Sonic the Hedgehog series. I say this mostly because of Super Mario Bros. 2 as it is essentially a Mario reskin of another game. I think that one game drops the overall quality of the Mario games that are listed.
  21. Happy One Year Anniversary!

      Thank you! :please:

  22. Just out of curiosity, what do y'all think the systems are going to cost? I was looking at that Play-Asia placeholder price of the PS5 on Wario64's Twitter and it is listed at $699. Obviously, that's not the actual price, but I get the feeling that these consoles are going to be expensive. My guess would be between $500 to $600. I'd be really surprised if it released at under $500.
  23. After watching the PS5 reveal, I have to say I am impressed with Sony. As someone who mainly plays video games on Xbox One, I am definitely considering switching to PlayStation next gen. However, for me, one of the biggest factors is going to be the price. If the PS5 is cheaper than the Xbox One than I will switch. I really think it is going to be an uphill battle for Microsoft next gen to compete with Sony in terms of their first party games. Not only that, but Sony is riding off the momentum of the PS4. As a gamer, I want to see Xbox do well, but they really need to deliver in terms of their first party games. They need to show more than just Forza, Gears, and Halo. Don't get me wrong I love Gears and I want to play 6, but I need more than that if they want me to stick around. Having powerful hardware is great, but they need good first party games as well. Hopefully, all the studios they acquired are able to deliver. I do think Game Pass is going to be a big factor next gen especially if they are able to deliver in terms of their first party studios. I wouldn't count Microsoft out just yet, but yeah, it is going to be tough for them. Honestly, you can never really predict the video game industry. Hell, look at Nintendo with the Wii U. It flopped hard yet they managed to bounced back with the Switch. Obviously, I am not expecting that turnaround, but I do hope Microsoft makes it more competitive than it was last gen. Competition is always a good thing for gamers.
  24. I thought it was an impressive showing by Sony. They really came out swinging with their first party titles. Kena: Bridge of Spirits looked gorgeous as did most of the other games shown. I agree the console’s color scheme makes it look futuristic though I am not really a fan of the console design itself.
