How to tell someone you don't like a gift/should you?

Someone once bought me a watch. I never wore watched. Then one day I tried it and wear that watch on a daily basis. Maybe try it with the knowledge that it was a thoughtful gift. If not, keep it to remember the person's kindness. If they start giving you watches every year though, then maybe say something. -

I hear ya. I just watched the three High School Musical movies for the first time this month since my daughter got into them. It had just missed out on it. I imagine if I was in high school or college when those came out I wouldn't have been obsessed. And we've been watching descendants for years now. My daughter was Mal for Halloween in 2017.

@Stone Cold Steve Tuna that's one way to do it. It's kind of a personal devotion. Technically, from a Catholic perspective, all that's required is fasting on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday and abstaining from meat on all Fridays. I'm going to attempt my strictest yet. besides from MLP Forums, I'm also giving up all internet forums, coffee (except on Sundays), alcohol (except on Sundays), desserts, at least partially fasting on all Fridays, and a goal for a few confessions and at least one additional daily mass a week.
