  1. SO a girl was found browsing suicide sites by her parents and she told them she was being bullied badly, so these parents go to this school and the teachers say, we know nothing of bullying here. If I where in the shoes of those parents then that teacher would really need to look out for flying fists

      yeah I know but how don't you see when a student is unhappy for a long time. It wouldn't even suprise me if she already told the teachers and they did nothing (or a bad punishment like in my old school where we had to shake hands and then everything would be solved).

      It's hard to tell in this case without all the evidence. I try to give teachers benefit of the doubt (because I'm biased), but you never know. There's some awful teachers out there who are told and don't do anything. If I noticed a particular student unhappy, I would (a) ask them about it, (B) mention it to a counselor, and © call up the parent and let them know what's going on. If I don't see evidence of bullying, or no one tells me anything, that's all I can do...

      ...plus also see if there's any signs of parental abuse and report it to the proper authorities if that's the case.
