  1. The concept of watching a show just to engage the fandom is just...Silly. Seems like one would need to be very desperate for socialization to partake of media just so they could pal around with those who legitimately liked it. Though in all fairness, I'm at least partway to being a sociopath. I don't get a lot of things about people. XD
  2. No love for Muffet? Spider racists.
  3. Actually, at the end of the day, media has neither sex nor gender, is not inherently tied to either male or female, and the social concepts dividing things between the two are nonsense. Chances are it's at least partially owned by dudes as well. And everything to do with Celestia outside the show itself is just awful. XP Full agreement.
  4. What the staff says is completely irrelevant to fan works though... .-. ...What exactly is the problem with people thinking about what they watch? Now, if the show aired on TLC or MTV or VH1, where not thinking about any of it is the expected status quo...
  5. Neither because they're both just simplistic single-word labels invented to cater to the lowest common denominator of politics and perpetuate a meaningless and ultimately destructive Us-VS-Them divisive mentality that forever plagues this nation's power structure, and I would rather have individual and various beliefs and views that can be articulated and changed as experience dictates rather than just checking off one or another predefined set of predetermined positions wrapped up in a tidy box of premade shape. But for the purposes of the question given, whichever side would be more likely to completely abolish the political party system (see the whole "perpetuate a meaningless and ultimately destructive Us-VS-Them divisive mentality" spiel above) is probably more my speed.
  6. Dealing with any part of those malformed smooshed-donkey-face beasts or their various awful musics is a challenge. XP Twilight: "I am the unicorn wizard!"
  7. Twilight: "I feel like I'm going crazy here! I'm getting [censored] while eating out my own [censored]!" (Via magic portals, she COULD say/do this...Just remember that. >.>)
  8. This is why I killed Goat Mom. I actually bailed out and reloaded because it was just so upsetting...But Flowey remembered. Little prick. Even my character remembered...That got weird. So I went back and re-committed to genocide because I was...Boned anyway. In The Witcher, I was super cool to Abigail and came to know her Biblically...Then offered her up when an angry witch-hunting mob came around (because a Witcher can't put emotional ties above his work). Worse, later on, by accident, I stumbled upon her staked and burnt corpse.
  9. Due to some unfortunate childhood experiences, I am paranoid of all people virtually all the time. Frankly, I should probably seek therapy.
  10. It's always been this way. The finales are fantastic adventure. The rest are mundane misadventure and hijinks. Always.
  11. Now the story of a TV show that got critical praise but lousy ratings in its day, was cancelled, became far more popular in the years afterward, and is on its way to a revival... Any fans? Thoughts? I was...Aware...Of this show during its initial run. I knew the title. But I was watching cartoons. >.>; But I was drawn into it recently. Come 2013, Netflix revived it for a fourth season. Scheduling issues (many of its cast are big names now, busy busy) necessitate an unusual format of episodes narrowing their focus. Many displeased. All of them very very wrong because it was brilliant and I will totally fight you. Fifth season confirmed in the pipeline. Movie hoped for. And, a personal hope, at least two more seasons after five. Now...Why was this cancelled again? It's got freakin' David Cross in it. And it's smart (the title alone has like four or five different meanings). And it's funny. What was wrong with people in 2003 (besides Bush)?
  12. Nothing is as extreme as the Souls games. Except perhaps Dwarf Fortress, where a badger can bite off your ear.
  13. Play it. Chances are they all missed something. Nobody ever checks out the cell phone...
  14. In The Forest (which I suggest you play if you're into survival-exploration stuff ala Minecraft or Don't Starve), I decapitated a cannibal out of sheer need to expend some adrenaline after it came at me. Figured I'd put his head on a pike Vlad-style to ward off any other hostiles. The accident: I discovered that constructing threatening displays out of body parts is a supported and extensive element of the game's crafting system. Arguably not so heinous since they started it. You're missing out. Never understood the aversion to that scene. I mean, the real-world implications are terribly too true but I had a blast. Guess I just settled more easily into Trevor's headspace.
