    They don't. Only the loud whiny minority hate it. It is very popular amongst the larger mlp community and was a big seller among kids. They're some of the most beautiful toys in the franchise.

    Your telling me they don't look detailed when they have sculpted faces, as opposed to g4 which is just a featureless, bloated chihuahua shaped head with a bird beak and eyes that are too low on the face? Furthermore unlike g4, g1 and g3 have multiple different head,leg and body sculpts. And what do you think horse toys are supposed to look like exactly Einstein? I mean, what's next? Complaining that a dog toy looks like a dog. You people are so nitpicky and the stretching you do to justify your insecure hatred is ridiculous.

    Hmm, I dunno. The proportions are a little better. The color choices on Sunny and Moonbow are over done. I like the gradient hair on Moonbow and Trailblazer, and hope that translates to the toys. The stubby Elsa-faces are very off-putting, but not nearly as much as Pony Life and their jawless animation. Someone mentioned they look like Shopkinz Horses, which is right on the nose. I like the green pegasus, and will pick it up if they make a good toy. The hair looks like it may be better quality this time, but I'll wait and see. Overall *shakes hand back and forth*

    Not a pony, but part of the mlp line and a childhood toy. Friendly the Bushwoolie. Once I get the princess he came with back, I'll have all my childhood Pegasus back. Bushwoolies are so cute.

    I am incredibly jealous! They look fantastic together! The Mountain Boys are hands down one of the best UK/Euro sets around.

    I love those colors. So perfect for the season. I don't have any of the Autumn G3s yet. Would love to get my mitts on Autumn Skye and Pumpkin Tart. My daughter got Abracadabra this year and she's plenty cute too.

    Seaspray is one of my minor G3 grails. Took 2 pics to show off those pretty hair stripes. She's gorgeous! And Baby Penny Candy, who, for reasons I can't understand, took a side trip in the complete opppsite direction on her way to me. Such a cutiepie.

    Congrats. Glory is so pretty and classic. Yeah, I wish we'd gotten the other 10 G3 unis. There were some nice designs. Wish we'd gotten a few babies too, they woulda been adorable.

    I finally got around to finishing this custom. Her name is Whale Song. Seascape arrived Monday. She's so bright and summery and her hair is awesome.

    I got my first G2 this year. Her name is Miss Painter, I like her bold, contrasting colors. @Splashee Ooh! You have Prince Firefly and Copper Glow! They're on my wishlist too.

    Congratulations on your grail! What an amazing find! I've never seen anything but stock photos of this girl before. She's such a pretty and unique pony. I never realized she had subtle yellow and orange shading. Her hair is awesome. My dream G3 Fair/Con Exclusive Ponies are Peacock, Frisco, Trolley and Ninja. But I doubt that'll happen.

    My first G1s of the year. SS Twilight is one of my big childhood grails. I was so thrilled to get her this January. She's darling! Picked up Basic Fun Trickles on impulse with my Crackerbarrel gift card last month. What a sweet springtime girl she is.

    I bought Tiny Book Sweetie Belle for a custom. I almost changed my mind because this fig is SO CUTE! Magnet Bolt turned out decently enough for someone who can't draw. I also grabbed 9 G3 ponies at the swapmeet for my bday. (And 1 G4) Rainbowdash(reobtained) Tea Leaf, Baby Keen Bean, Cotton Candy, Baby Pink Sunsparkle, Banjo Blue, Tink-a-tink-a-too, Toola Roola and Sweet Summertime. Banjo went to a little cousin for her bday. CC, Tink and Summertime are going to be traded off for ponies on my wishlist

    Got em! Cute bunch, nice silky hair. It wanted to stick up, but a good conditioning and a wet-towel wrap tamed it down. Plastic is decent, the seams show pretty badly in person. Oh well. AJ, Pinkie and Rarity are more G3ish. Dash and Fluttershy more G1ish. TS is a nice mix of both.

    Found a ton of toys at the swapmeet for my bday last month. Rainbowdash (reobtained), Tea Leaf, Baby Keen Bean Cotton Candy, Baby Pink Sunsparkle, Banjo Blue Tink-a-tink-a-too, Toola Roola, Sweet Summertime, Lucky Clover. That whole big bunch for $9.50 was a pretty good deal. Cotton Candy, Tink and Summertime are being traded off, and Banjo Blue went to a little cousin for her bday. She was very happy. I ordered the Retro Mane Six Pack and it took a while to get to me. That's okay. I'm keeping everyone but Pinkie, she's in the process of being sold. I'm going to attempt to customize AJ. The rest are staying. And I picked up Basic Fun Trickles with a gift card.

    Yeah. Its not an attractive figure. The unicorn horn is stupid. I personally never liked the Pony Friends and Pretty Pals myself. Your talking about how it could tie in with lore. Not every single thing has to have lore attatched to it. As of right now it does not. Its just a toy that Hasbro is reissuing in blindbag form. With a stupid unicorn horn attatched to it.

    What's to know? Hasbro made the toy then. They made the toy now. And there is no denying that llama and alpaca toys and merch have been gaining popularity. Just as Cutesaurus was made to tap into the dinosaur craze of the 80s and early 90. So they figure why not dust off a figure that might catch older collectors attention (and that's how i found out about the new blindbags) and catch newer fans attention with the llama craze. Hasbro is a toy company above all else.
