i don't think winamp is going to handle it when i update my main playlist on there with my roughly 250 gigs of unsorted music... i may have to switch to foobar2000 soon. if i can at least import my playlists into foobar and use my media keys in foobar like i can in Winamp i'm happy with the change, though.

does size or number of songs matter, though? i suspect that he might have a far larger amount of songs than i do. most of my size here stems from the fact that my external stores hundreds of gigabytes of source-quality music, which i wonder if their huge size would bog down Winamp or if a huge number of songs would.
