    great... my computer at home BSOD'ed at me, not once, not twice, but THRICE! if i am not on here for a long time, this is the cause of it, so you are aware of that.

      update: it managed to boot now, but the wallpaper didn't show up, saying that active desktop has encountered an error. when i clicked the button to re-activate it, it says that internet explorer has encountered a script problem that is described as a script that is unknown and doesn't want to run. shortly after that it BSOD again: this time i could make out that the error was the "irqs driver was not less or equal", or something among those lines.
