    pop. why do people say that when they are referring to soda. it sounds strange. you realize that "pop" is another nickname for a father? try saying "i'm gonna drink my can 'o' pop now" while thinking about the other meaning of the word pop, and tell me how it feels like to say pop when referring to soda now.

      well, uhh uhh, pops is the plural for several soda cans, right? THERE. NOW YOU'RE DRINKING OFF OF SEVERAL POPS.

      I hate when people say pop in place of soda. Pop is the sound a balloon makes when you stab it. Soda is something you drink.
