  1. I was thinking about this thread when I saw it.
  2. Pretty sleepy and wrecked to be honest. I only got four hours of sleep last night. It had to be a Monday where I would struggle to get my eight hours, yay. Nonetheless, I pressed on through school, study, and working out. Now that I'm home, I feel like I could sleep anywhere.
  3. Back from a long day.

There are 2 main options that can help..

1: Watch a really boring show until you nod off..

2: Listen to soft calming music while you try to sleep..

    music Dubtrack!

So dubtrack.fm is a site where you can play music with friends in a lobby. It's pretty straight forward, just think of it as a virtual DJ concert where everyone participating can choose their own music. https://www.dubtrack.fm/join/breadbutts-bread This link will bring you to the lobby that I've created. Use ANY music you desire, I don't mind. c: Have fun!

  9. Definitely. But yeah, there's no point eating in a caloric surplus (oops) without actually going to the gym, you'll just get fat. One (bulking) doesn't work without the other (Training).
  10. That's crazy There's people out there that take ~4-5 scoops of protein a day. But if you're taking that much just to see results, then you mustn't be eating enough, or even properly.
  11. I wouldn't consider supplements a waste of money, they have many uses. Like, a protein shake can replace an entire meal, and because it's in liquid form, it can quickly and easily be consumed. I wouldn't take supplements if my diet consisted highly in junkfood and sugary crap. Like...they're called supplements for a reason, they help you reach your daily macronutrient intake
  12. Meh, there's worse 'fitness' goods out there than protein bars. But if I were to choose between protein shakes and bars, I'd definitely go for shakes, since there's more HBV protein present in them and it digests faster since it's just a liquid, so your body absorbs it within minutes. I guess it depends on the brand.
  13. That's a common question. Tonnes of people say that you should take protein 30-45 minutes after a workout, but I'm not sure if that's true. Muscle protein synthesis is a process that takes 24-48 hours to complete, so theoretically, if you take protein within this time, you will grow. I'm not sure though, but I still try to eat as soon after a workout as possible just so I have some amount of energy. True, but at least it tastes good! Whole grain bread though, that's much better.
  14. I've been told that the white bread in America is filled with tonnes of sugar, like 6 grams per slice. Is that true?
  15. Combining carbs with more carbs.
  16. I sure will! P.S - Let's combine muffins and bread. :3
  17. This topic is for those curious about fitness/diet, and want to ask me questions based on such. Now I'm no certified trainer/dietitian, but I know my way around much of what and what not to do when it comes to fitness. Just hit me up with some questions, and I'll be sure to reply! And it doesn't have to strictly be questions, discussions are more than welcomed too.
  18. I'm not much of a gamer that really focuses on difficulties, but if I were to chose one from my childhood. Just one word......HEROIC.
  19. I'd completely agree with you. When I'm an adult in my late 20s/mid 30s, going back to the days where I was full of energy and more free would be a great thought, not to mention not paying rent, tax and bills.
  20. Belly facing down, two arms under a stack of two pillows. I sometimes sleep on my side, but I don't know what dictates that.

  22. I'd say the adolescent stage in life is the most complex of them all. It's the point in which our bodies require the most amount of nutrients/energy, and reasonably so, we're growing at such a rate and developing in so many ways, that it's vital for our bodies to constantly stay fueled. Copious amounts of hormonal changes/imbalances also take place, and it's bound to trigger a plethora of emotional conflict, even with the adolescent alone. Being one myself, it's almost as if we're more susceptible to stress, it's just a matter of how it's coped with. Think about it, you don't hear about many adults dealing with stress via cutting themselves, then get these 14-17 year-olds slicing their arms with razors as if they're using their bodies as a make shift Etch A Sketch. It's a morbid image, yeah, but that's how it is. I don't even know what I'm talking about though, but yeah, some adolescents can be annoyingly egotistical, from my experiences at least.
  23. Here, have a cute bread horse as a form of gratitude! <3
