Can someone explain to me why and how people are managing to take a political stance on A New Generation?

I agree and that's the thing: Saying that "racism is bad" is not a political statement. Calling that statement political implies it can be debated, but it cannot be debated. Racism is stupid, period. So if a piece of family media wants to have that type of message woven into its story, that is cool with me.

Oh my god, dude, that word has lost all meaning to me thanks to those people.
Basically at this point "woke" is just anything describing people who feel they're getting cheated out of life
So if you're speaking out against the mistreatment of you or others, congratulations, you are woke
And somehow this is a thing society views as bad now -
