I figured it out! D:
The Universe IS predetermined... sort of...
Allow me to explain
Our Universe is seamingly random as to what events occur. The only problem with that is, our Universe follows a strict set of rules upon what is possible. By definition, total randomness is impossible in this Universe.
What is possible is an occilated equation which results in an ammount of quantities exceeding the estimated number of particles in the Universe. This is referred to as "pseudorandomness" in which utilizes a system of wave-like inputs that bases each output upon the values of the previous, called "Perlin Noise".
This allows for seemingly random possibilities, but given certain values, the number is quantifiable. Unfortunately, those values are outside the range of human perception to have an accurate equation.
Now imagine every possible reality you can think of that doesn't exceed the normal rules of our current Universe. The idea is, our reality can be given a value based upon the setup and valued of the ones set at lesser values.
So, considering this, our Universe was predetermined from its initial setup to its endgame based upon outer influences and mathematical values built around its predecessors. The only reality that would be completely random was the first to generate whilst being observed.
SCIENCE!!! ¦D

Kind of like a procedurely generated video game ¦D Statistically, the best example I could think of is the Minecraft World generation program
