I have watched Room Mate

I am disappointed. The show had multiple points where it could've told an interesting love story, but they didn't go anywhere. I was left with something that felt unfinished. The concept of POV Yaoi has so much potential, but whoever these writers were need to learn how to tell a story

It felt like s bad fanfiction because the writing sucked ass, and the only decent part was the poorly written spice. There was hardly a story. It seems like they had a bunch of ideas but never settled on one. It pretty much goes:

- You show up and meet 3 cute boys

- The landlord makes a rule that prohibits romantic relationships

- Boys completely ignore the rule and fight over you, while writers try to make you forget the rule ever existed

- Turns out they all have to leave

- They come back years later

- The end

That plotchart just looks unfinished

As for the characters, they were just flat af. Each of them only had one notable aspect. They weren't likable nor relatable. This one boy especially wasn't likable, I hated him. He was just a dick. He never sahs one nice thing, and the second I thought he was actually crying over a human being, it turned out he was crying over a lost game save file. I wanted to reach through the screen and strangel his poorly-written ass!
