Most of the players here have at least some roleplay experience. We all have the same intention -- we all want to make a story together, and have fun together.

Really I'm sure that the Co-DM is worried about your character changing the story too much; if he comes off as "overpowered", hard to interact with, or just not pertaining to the story at all, you'll have problems.
