If you had to decide, would you live as a hippogriff or a sea pony?
Sea pony is pretty cool, I would probably prefer being a sea pony.

Just watched my Friendship Games Blu-ray, good movie that didn't really rely on the Twilight from Equestria, great pre-credits scene at the end.

I got my Season 6 and 7 DVD sets and Friendship Games on Blu ray!
I am probably gonna keep seasons 6 and 7 factory sealed, and I am gonna open and watch Friendship Games on either my PS4 or my Blu ray player hooked up to the new 4K TV.
Too bad this is going to be incomplete, no seasons 8 and 9 DVDs...

Finished season 7 now!
I feel like Friendship is Magic is almost on the same level as Sonic SatAM, at least I think so.

Wow, some of the G4 dolls and toys have kinda gotten pricey over the years since the show started.
I am looking at Starlight Glimmer toys, and yeah, kinda pricey, like I said.
I kinda wish I could afford one of those custom plushies, but I also live with my parents too, and that would kinda turn them off a bit. LOL

I think I saw Original Series and Tales on Tubi.tv for free, but there are ads in between during the shows, so I don't know if that is something you can live with.

Well dangit, I missed my chance to watch EG Friendship Games, they removed it from Netflix here in Canada...
Good thing I ordered the Blu ray of it, and plus, it has the audio commentary!

I might be a bit more open up to G5 now, I am just praying that it does not suck.
I still have 4 more episodes of season 7, then I will have 2 more seasons to go.

Their facial expressions are supposed to be a nod to Ren and Stimpy, if I am not mistaken. -
That hotdiggedydemon series was good, it got me interested in his other animations, including Brain Dump, which is a very hilarious video series he is doing at the moment.

Just watched Perfect Pear episode, great story telling in my opinion. I honestly wish more children cartoons were written like MLP, with ongoing stories like it.

I also think I should get all the rest of the episode compilation DVDs by Shout Factory, I wanna feel like I own all the official USA releases of FiM, despite season 8 and 9 not having DVD releases.

So far, I finished the season 6 finale, and goddamn, it was kinda "edge-of-your-seat" good.
3 more seasons to go, but I guess Netflix does not have season 9, so soon, it will be time to be a pirate, yar har!

You can change your region settings. Create a US account. I have Amazon accounts from various countries. I live in USA and was able to buy the season, but Amazon video had me set to UK and wouldn't let me watch it. I called customer service and they switched it to USA and I watched it. So it seems you don't need a VPN proxy, just switch your account on Amazon Video. The weird thing was that it looked like everything was set to USA in my settings, but when I called they were able to see different settings.

Definitely the weirdest thing I have done tonight, crying over a cartoon about colored horses.
I was in the bathroom for a few minutes, sorta quietly crying, hoping no one else heard me.
I feel sorta better now, after watching a few more season 6 episodes, picking up where I left off.

I was thinking of rebranding my older YouTube channel into a non-gaming review channel.
Thinking about doing a long continuous video or multi-part video covering every single Friendship is Magic episode, movie, spinoff, and special.
The channel content would not be so much MLP focused, but more so on retro and modern pop culture television and cinema.
My Little Pony is considered pop culture.

Anyone see Blu ray season releases happening anytime soon?

I am a little disappointed that streaming is sorta taking over, but at the same time, streaming IS convenient. I will usually prefer physical DVD and Blu-ray, due to the fact that Netflix and Disney Plus doesn't really have bonus features, and that is a shame. Plus, licenses can always run out and movies and shows get removed and rotated all the time. Copyright is really a pain. And I hope you are right about Blu-ray having a big boom in the coming years, maybe it might totally replace DVD as a format, but I probably should not get too ahead of myself, since there are lots of material from the past that was not made for 1080p upscaling. I am just really glad the fans pick up the ball when the parent company, Hasbro doesn't even care for the fandom market that much when it comes to DVD and Blu-ray sales. -
I am a little disappointed that Shout Factory stopped at season 7, but I hope there is some other company out there that can pick up the pace in the future. I am sure this has already been said before, but I want the whole show, plus any specials and spinoffs on Blu ray. I am sorta coming to light and realizing that yes, DVD is sorta obsolete at this point in time, considering it is only 480p, if I am not mistaken. Although, maybe I should not hold my breath too much on this, considering this is a Hasbro cartoon to sell toys, and the target audience is young girls. But, how many parents still use DVDs over Blu rays to put on cartoons for their kids? Since I know every single episode is encoded and upscaled by the fans, I can possibly wait a few more years or so before another company decides to make a release that panders to the fandom.
I had to get them gradually until I had all six. 
I'd afford anything for those ponies though!
