    Seeing as there are still guys who still watch the show despite so-called 'gender norms', we can safely say that gender norms are still being ignored by plenty of people no matter how much complaining detractors do (and if they try and kill us, they will regret it. Did it ever occur to them that killing a guy just because he watches a kid show is a stupid reason to commit murder, because I sure think it is).

    Do the writers hate Rainbow Dash? A lot of her episodes are considered very controversial, like Newbie Dash and 28 Pranks Later. Not to mention they haven't done anything like make Rainbow Dash Twilight's Number Two. A lot of people here seem to think the writers don't like.

    I'll keep that in mind. I'll be sure to not call it an obsession. It's just that I feel like a lot of people seem to want g4 characters to not appear at all, let alone appear as main characters. I could be exaggerating that, too, though.

    Honestly, they really should have. Granted, she's not as bad as Toph from Avatar. (hears the sound of charging footsteps and indistinct battle cries) I think I just angered the Toph fanbase.

    My only regret is that we won't see Pony Twilight come back to the human world. All we can do is hope to see Sunset Shimmer again in Generation 5.

    Rainbow Dash having a hidden power? Although, I suppose the Season 9 premiere counts as the Mane 6 having a hidden power, even though said power was with them since the first season.
