  1. Anyone find it unfortunate the show didn't explain why the Tree of Harmony chose to project an image of Twilight as its avatar while communicating with the Student 6, or never showed Twilight finding out about it?
  2. Well, if there were any doubts that they wouldn't make anymore Crash Bandicoot games, they jumped right out the window.
  3. Can't remember, but it was probably Christian musicians, like Rich Mullins.
  4. Probably cybernetic enhancements and cloned body parts to replace any that are lost.. Hopefully, everyone will be immune to the coronavirus by then. And hopefully, we'll have flying cars. Maybe there will be suits of power armor used for constructions and heavy lifting.
  5. If/when powered armor/exoskeletons become a thing, what jobs do you think they would be best suited for?
  6. Are there any video games you never played before but like, anyway after, say, watching video playthroughs and fan-made music videos?
  7. I tried that, but then I lost interest in the fanfics. Looking back, they could have been done better.
  8. I'd add elements from previous generations, while mixing it up with my own ideas (toned down, of course, since my imagination can get really dark). Although, I can't decide whether or not Megan should be in it. If I added her to my hypothetical reboot, then Earth would be real, too, and Equestria/Ponyland/Whatever would exist in another dimension accessed by a portal under a tree in Megan's backyard. There would probably be humans in the pony realm, also, living in a medieval fantasy setting but with bits of steampunk, Renaissance, and magically-powered machinery thrown in for flavor. (they'd ride two-legged ostrich-type creatures as mounts to avoid any implications). Twilight Sparkle would be the main pony character, and either be Celestia's student, again, or be a powerful sorceress a princess of her tribe The Moochick would be in it, serving as a wise sage and one of the pony realm's most powerful magic users, battling against Tirek in a great war that happened centuries ago. There would be goblins, hobgoblins, trolls, ogres, golems, and maybe dwarves, elves, gnomes, and other mythological beings. If Megan were to be in my hypothetical reboot, I'd probably make her a teenager. Plus, her first encounter with the ponies will be when she bumps into Twilight and one of the other main pony characters (probably Applejack), who are being chased by Tirek's henchmen. You can probably imagine Megan's reaction when Twilight first speaks. Rainbow Dash would be a Robin Hood-esque thief, stealing from Tirek and giving to the oppressed, accompanied by Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. Spike would be an orphaned baby dragon adopted by Twilight's tribe after his dragon clan was slaughtered (off screen) and enslaved by Tirek's forces. Rarity would be a tailor in Twilight's tribe, and also part-time treasure hunter. There would be anthropomorphic animals. Sunset Shimmer would be a unicorn pony disguised as a human in Megan's world named Sarah Summers. The Sirens would be among Tirek's most loyal servants. Queen Chrysalis and the Changelings would serve Tirek's empire as spies, but Chrysalis would secretly plot to overthrow Tirek.
  9. I won't lie. I adore foxes. In fact, I might be obsessed.
  10. Hit on a married woman. It was back in high school. Don't worry, I will never do it again.
  11. I was just saying. Besides, Mutant Chronicles is an RPG where there are enemies like zombies with guns. Not much realism to be had.
  12. There were three games related to a franchise called Legacy of Kain that were being developed, but were cancelled: Legacy of Kain: Dark Prophecy, which would have been a sequel to Defiance; Dead Sun, another attempt at a sequel, featuring a human being sharing the body of a vampire; and Nosgoth, a spin-off MMO third-person shooter taking place in the Soul Reaver era after Raziel was throne into the Abyss, but before he came back as a wraith serving the Elder God. After these games were cancelled, Square Enix has apparently lost interest in making any further attempts to make a new Legacy of Kain, game. Although, at this point, they might as well reboot it, because it's been a long time since then. Still, it would have been nice if they were finished. I would have at least played Dead Sun. That way I would get more acquainted with the franchise and become a proper fan (I am faving artwork of it on deviantart, and even thought of make a revision of it, but I never played. I did make a faves folder titled 'Legacy of Kain: Revision', but unless I actually do more than watch other people play the games on YouTube (like if I played a physical copy of one of the games), I can only fill it with artwork that might fit the setting).
  13. Something tells me this is gonna be another repeat of Dragon Ball Evolution.
  14. Granted I've never watched the Star Wars Sequels, but from what I'm hearing... yeah, I'm gonna ignore their stories. Anything in those movies like technology, planets, starships, species, creatures, droids, and other things can join my headcanon universe. But yeah, plot-wise, I really don't like how the sequels sound. Han Solo dying- Well, at least it's not Chewbacca this time, but still! The New Republic getting destroyed- Oh, Come on! Who didn't wanna see a space battle between the New Republic and the Remnants of the Empire! First Order- This group's name confuses me. Wouldn't the Galactic Empire be a 'first order', and since the First Order is a successor of the Empire, shouldn't it be called something like the 'Second Order'. The Resistance- It's basically just Rebel Alliance 2.0. the New Jedi Order being wiped out- Wow. The Sequel movies must love rendering the heroes' efforts in the Original Trilogy entirely pointless, don't they? Snoke dying- If you're just going to kill oFf a potential main antagonist in the middle of a trilogy, then don't build him up to be a main antagonist. Luke giving up on restoring the Jedi- Seriously? Luke Skywalker, the guy who redeemed Darth Vader, became a Jedi master, and tried to rebuild the Jedi order, just gives up and goes into hiding after the Knights of Ren destroyed the New Jedi Order? He's going to become a hermit and hide on a remote planet instead of restoring the Jedi Order? Luke. Skywalker. Is just. Going. To give up. And Hide?! Starkiller Base- Just because it can destroy an entire solar system, doesn't mean it's not similar to the Death Star. It just means it can destroy an entire solar system. This will be the only peace of technology I will leave out of my headcanon universe. Kylo Ren- Sounds a little too much like Kybo Ren (villain from a short-lived, obscure Star Wars cartoon. You wouldn't have heard of him. Unless you already looked him up on the Star Wars Wiki).
  15. You're not familiar with Mutant Chronicles, are you? The whole inner solar system in the universe of Mutant Chronicles is governed by five megacorporations, and they definitely have militaries (three of them also look like retrofuturistic version of World War I era Britain, 19th Century Germany, and Feudal Japan with mecha). Plus the megacorporations are the closest things to governments in Mutant Chronicles, anyway. There's also a religious military organization called the Brotherhood and hordes of monsters, undead, and mutants called the Dark Legion, but that's beside the point. But what happens when Amazon has an army?
  16. Lobbying doesn't count. If the military belongs to a government, it's not the corporation's. The corporation is just profiting from it. Although, that anecdote was pretty funny.
  17. Five days ago, I asked on Yahoo answers if Conservatives consider people expendable (and in hindsight, I probably should have been more specific). One of the answers talked about how everyone is expendable, and I was kind of disturbed by that. This is the answer, in case your wondering: "everyone is expendable, that has never changed. Just most think they are special or something, very few are special and actually contribute to society in a meaningful way." I simply said that it was depressing they thought like that, then four days later they replied it was reality. Of course, being a pessimist who is tired of being a pessimist, I just said that was just their opinion, and just because they think that way doesn't make it true, and then on that same day they went on about everyone is forgotten even by their loved ones, life moving on, and whatever role a dead person had being filled by someone else. So, I am really curious about this line of thought: Everyone is expendable? Why would that be the case? What causes people to think this way? P.S. This is not a rant. I'm just being specific because I remember how some people told me that previous topics I posted were too vague about the subjects they were about.
