i see... that's rather unfortunate.. how does it effect people tho? the stereotype is basically "i feel 'fat' so i wont eat" even tho the person isn't :/ its more complex that than i assume...

It tends to be about taking control over your otherwise out of control life, although I can't speak for everyone.

My anorexia really "kicked off" when I was inpatient for suicidal ideation and lack of impulse control.
