It's disingenuous to approach that sort of goal without recognizing the reality of the situation, that is, "white pride" or "male pride" is closely associated with some especially vile movements which have held sway over society at one point or another.

Plus, men aren't a historically oppressed demographic. It's extremely difficult to find a point in time where men as a group were mistreated simply because they were men.

Yet we have the same reality that seems to be appearing in these sort of celebrations of marginalized groups now today. So in effect, any sort of "pride" or celebration seems to encourage vile movements in a sense?

No, but I don't say that today is the same as 100-200 years ago. History does not justify actions against those who have not followed in the footsteps of their ancestors.
