Not my personal preference of genre (in fact the only genre I avoid religiously), but it's decent and fits the occasion.

I see. This was just a thought of mine but:

When people say "why did the chicken cross the road" it's actually a referance to crossing to the other side after life, cars change while they're passing the duck, the duck will never see the same car again so he is ever changing in life and, when the road is crossed, he will be dead on the other side (afterlife) and if he gets hit by a car, that means he must have taken his own life, just a thought........

 That was both deep and a little confusing. What if the chicken is just a chicken, and he sees some food on the other side.
