  1. A little something I threw together for @Splashee. I figured I'd give a speed-drawing a try. I'm usually a pretty slow drawer, so please excuse the countless number of mistakes in there. :adorkable:

I can see and understand your motivation for drawing, and how it comes from seeing other people draw, either it be a live stream or a speed drawing. I didn't expect you to get like this from my own speed drawing, which was a big surprise, and made me really happy (I am still really happy, lol)!

For myself, my inspiration for drawing kicked off in the rushed production of the Anime "Dragon Ball Super", which fell apart completely at episode 5 (do a search you will find horrible horrible stuff), resulting in animators cutting the quality so much the result was a disaster almost beyond repair. But that showed me they are not flawless. I got so much inspiration because Japanese Anime and Manga are always done to perfection, and seeing that they (the artists or animators) can be just like you or me, real people and not perfect machines, was the realization I needed to start improving myself and accept my own flaws.

The motivation however, really comes from being able to share the art with my friends here, or just talk about how awesome it is to draw and learn how to draw! And of course seeing other artists develop, like yourself! It is a wonderful thing! A wonderful moment to share :kindness:

Sometimes it's nice to know that even the best professional artists and animators are still human and therefore still make mistakes from time to time.

I'd say you hit my motivation right on. Seeing other people's drawings just makes me want to improve all the more. :pinkie:
