Jeopardy is a trivia-based game show. Sounds boring, right? Well... it is, just a little bit. But it can be fun to have the family gathered around watching, having our own little contest to see who can get the most answers right.
Today's match is the beginning of a 3 to 7 day tournament (first to 3 wins). Not just a "tournament of champions", which they've had plenty of in the past, but this one they're calling "the greatest of all time". Ken Jennings (a name every Jeopardy fan knows) holds the longest winning streak of 74 games, 42 more than second place (Holzhauer). Brad Rutter has the highest Jeopardy winnings and has never lost to another human player (he and Jennings lost to Watson, an IBM computer designed to play Jeopardy). James Holzhauer is the recent addition with his 32-game win streak last year, including the top 16 scoring games in Jeopardy history (his average was barely below the previous highest scoring game).
If you can't tell, I'm looking forward to these games.
