  1. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions about Earth. If Celestia wanted to know something, be it in the interest of Equestrian national security or her own personal interest, I've got no problem talking about it.
  2. Happy Birthday Kayleigh! Hope its an awesome one!

  3. The past 5 episodes have been very enjoyable, imo. "On Your Marks" did a great job of addressing concerns I had about the CMC going forward. "Gauntlet of Fire" was just awesome-and it introduced Ember, who I think is very cool. As far as hopes for the rest of the season, it would be nice to see Fluttershy and Scootaloo both get an episode centered around them, individually.
  4. There's something we can agree upon. All action and no interaction between characters is a recipe for disaster. Character development is a crucial aspect of any good story.
  5. First off, MLP's primary demographic is young girls-which greatly limits the series. Including "darker" plots in MLP movies caters to more adult audiences, such as bronies, whom are on average in their 20's. True. It should not be a brony-focused movie. That would entail bringing in elements that might change the dynamic of the series, potentially for the worse. Hasbro needs to find that middle-ground that caters to both its primary audience and bronies. Does that clear things up?
  6. Do you like it? Sort of. So you collect it? Yeah, but only specific things. How big is your collection? I have that pack of ponies you only find at Walmart (the one with the thumb-sized Mane 6, Silver Spoon, Diamond Tiara, Cadence, and Shining Armor.) Plus a plushie Rainbow Dash and a toy of Rarity. What is your favourite type of pony merch? When it comes out, I think Guardians of Harmony will be my favorite MLP toy line. That's when I'll really start collecting. I mean check this picture out...they look really good imo.
  7. I'm not opposed to this at all. It feels like they've been limiting themselves for too long. Why stick to the "young girls" demographic when so many of the show's fans are bronies? The new Guardians of Harmony toy line they're putting on shelves this Fall is an example of taking a step in the right direction. But they do need to be mindful as to not destroy the spirit of the show. Equestria is a pure-even ideal place. I don't want Hasbro doing anything drastic like having somepony die on screen.
  8. Ron Perlman would be a dream come true. Also, I like the idea to have Morgan Freeman as Starswirl. I earnestly want Ashton Kutcher to voice somepony in this. He did VA work with Open Season and I thought he did a good job with that.
  9. Saying this as a Christian. No.
  10. Ehh...I think I'm on board with everyone calling the "formerly bad" pony Trixie. Her relationship with Twilight is still very lukewarm. Plus, Trixie's reappearance is long overdue. As far as Sunset Shimmer goes, it can't be the Sunset we know from the movies (the one originally from Equestria,) since she's a hero now. Twilight would promote a bond between her and Starlight Glimmer, not try to dissolve it.
  11. I know what you mean. If feels like we get so caught up in mass consumerism and social media that we forget the times that led us to today-times that could very well make a comeback if a Cataclysm were to occur. The way ponies operate in Equestria is so peaceful-a peacefulness we as human beings can only dream of achieving, given our self-centered nature. Sure we help one another out now and again, but we're a long way from Equestria.
  12. We should strive to maintain Equestria's purity. A big reason why I love Equestria so much is because its a better place, morally and culturally. Now...with that being said, it should also be semi-realistic. Not so much that is mirrors our own blasted, war-torn, self-serving Earth, but as far as to challenge ponies with finding solutions to specific big-name issues. Some of these issues that, in my opinion, are okay to bring up in the show are: Death by natural causes, adoption, poverty, and bullying. Of course others will disagree with this, and I can see why somepony would. Overall, you have to be super seriously careful when choosing and introducing adult themes.
  13. Paralysis; especially if its full-body. The idea of sitting in bed every day, not being able to do anything for myself, is terrifying. Also spiders.
  14. E-Gad! I've jumped ship! :P

They're all awesome, if you ask me.

Agreed. Even outside the CMC, every pony is great.

  15. Honestly, I'd like to see a 'Master Chief/Handsome Jack/Nathan Drake Collection' for Crash Bandicoot. Its surprising that such a great character met an end so tragic. He had a few gems and it would be a shame to see them lost in the past. But going back to the idea of a "Crash Collection," I'd be happy with CB: 1 & 2, Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, and Twinsanity. Maybe Wrath of Cortex or a port of Nitro Kart also.
  16. True, we're seeing less of Twilight now, seeing as she's reached her original 'endgame' which ended up being her transformation into a princess. The CMC have their marks, and Rainbow's about to get Wonderbolt status. It looks like mission complete, right? Take a look at what Writer's Digest Editors claim in "Creating Characters: The Complete Guide to Populating Your Fiction" A character needs to have four things: 1. external motivation (what they want to achieve) 2. internal motivation (why they want to achieve it) 3. external conflict (what's stopping them from getting it) 4. and internal conflict (what they're willing to do to get it) If Twilight's story, or anypony's story is going to see a "Chapter 2," she'll need a new goal, a reason for getting that goal, a visible threat, and a conflict of identity. She, the CMC, Rainbow Dash, and anypony else reaching the end of their "Chapter 1" could very well see the start of a whole new adventure, and as long as its an interesting adventure, people will want to watch it unfold.
  17. I guess no ice. The cubes take up too much space and I don't like drinking crushed ice.
  18. Nope. In our world, societies that place a greater emphasis on one gender, often treat the other like dirt. In Equestria, the controlling gender treats the other with respect and equality. Stallions don't care because they're seen as equals, and are invited to hold the same jobs and positions as mares.
  19. Bat ponies. I'm hoping the writers give us an episode dedicated to them. Where do they live? How does their culture differ from the rest of Equestria? *crosses fingers* Also, since ghosts are apparently a thing, it would be interesting to see more on them. Maybe this could tie into the Bat ponies episode? Hmm...time for a fanfic.
  20. No, but I won't jump the gun and say it doesn't happen. Heck, I'm a Christian that believes its possible to go to Equestria upon request. Life on other planets is not outside the realm of possibility.
  21. Honestly, this sounds fun to me. Its great to watch the Mane 6 going through their own adventures, but I'd like a few of my own. Plus, meeting new friends and finding out where you fit in is part of the ride. I guess its for some and not for others.
  22. Hi there! *hugs*

You know what that doesnt sound as weird as you think it might do to an outsider I could quite possibly be the human race is a very violent species so I would prefer to be there instead hell I might be a pony that would be so awsome

If you're serious about the idea, here's why I believe its possible: read the Bible verses Mark 11:22-24 and Matthew 18:18-20. These two passages suggest that literally anything is possible, including being taken to Equestria.

  23. *lights cigarette like a grizzly war veteran and stares off into the sun* Nearly lost my pinkie finger when I dropped my safety goggles in shop class. I apparently thought I was Neo and tried to catch them in mid-air. Unfortunately, I missed the goggles and my pinkie made lightning-fast contact with the edge of a stainless steel sheet. To this day I don't have any feeling in the affected area. There's been other things, but that was pretty bad :/
