Sounds good, but looking at the Summertime Shorts from Equestria Girls, it looks like they used a combination of Flash and Toon Boom Harmony there with how things looked with the girls in their Fall Formal attire in the first three shorts and the ones that followed.

Was The Perfect Pear worth waiting for?
Sonic5421 replied to Stickman, The Legend's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
This episode was definitely worth it for me. A beautiful episode, both heartwarming and tear-jerking, and I'm sure a lot of Bronies will be talking about it for a good long time. -
spoiler Did you cry during The Perfect Pear?
Sonic5421 replied to Dark Qiviut's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Strong men also cry, and I was one of them. Pear Butter's song was so beautiful, I couldn't help myself. This episode has got to be one of the best episodes to come out of the series so far, and it will be one of my favorites for a long time thanks to Bright Mac and Pear Butter.- 93 replies

Okay...this episode was, by far, the best episode of the series so far! Not only do we have William Shatner voicing Grand Pear, but we get some serious backstory on Pear Butter and Bright Mac, Big Mac, Applejack, and Apple Bloom's parents. They truly loved each other dearly, despite Granny Smith and Grand Pear's hatred for each other because of the family feud between the Apples and Pears, and willing to go behind their parents' backs and secretly marry was very touching. The part that really broke my heart was Pear Butter's song. No matter how many times I hear it, I can't help but cry every time. I felt so sorry for Pear Butter when she chose her new husband and the Apples over moving to Vanhoover with Grand Pear and the Pears, and angry at her decision and his hatred for the Apples, Grand Pear disowned her on the spot. Granny Smith quickly came to her comfort and showed she was willing to put the feud behind them now that Pear Butter was an Apple now. As for the final gift that they left behind being the intertwined apple and pear trees by the rock Bright Mac carved their cutie marks on, it was truly a way to help show Granny Smith, Grand Pear, and their grandchildren that Bright Mac and Pear Butter's legacy would continue now that Granny Smith and Grand Pear finally buried the grudge after so long. This episode gets a 15/10, if not a 100/10 from me, and as for Bright Mac and Pear Butter...this song is for you... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GWQ-oDMG6g Celestia and Luna Bless You, Bright Mac and Pear Butter.

Great episode for Fluttershy and Discord. It is clear that Discord has to survive on his chaos. If he doesn't, he could fade away and cease to exist as a result. He wanted to make a tea party that Fluttershy would enjoy, but when he asked Pinkie for advice, he kind of took it the wrong way and wanted things to be like how Fluttershy does her tea parties. Had Fluttershy not realized that chaos could bring Discord back, he would have vanished. It was funny how Fluttershy acted like Discord and caused mischief and chaos to restore Discord back to normal, as she deeply loves Discord for how different they are from each other. Fluttershy likes things nice and organized, while Discord thrives on insanity and chaos. Shows just how much the bond between them has strengthened since Fluttershy helped Discord reform all the way back in Season 3. I'm giving this episode a 9.5 out of 10 for the zany antics of Fluttershy and Discord.

I couldn't catch this episode when it debuted due to other plans for that Saturday, but I was able to watch it via other sources, so I can still voice my thoughts about it. It was nice to see Prince Rutherford and his kind again, this time as Pinkie was invited to their land to take part in one of their traditional celebrations. I think I understand where Rutherford was going when he refused to resort to asking the Mane Six for help. He didn't want himself or his yaks to look weak in straight-up asking for help. He wanted Pinkie to understand that even if the yaks don't ask for help, that doesn't mean she should still get it for them, even if it was without being asked first. Rutherford didn't want to look weak, but when Pinkie failed to get the meaning of his message across, he had to resort to revoking her honorary yak status to convince her to get the Mane Six anyway. Once she did and helped clear up the avalanche, he was pleased and restored her honorary yak status. Great episode for Pinkie and Rutherford with how close they are as friends after Rutherford's debut back in Season 5, so I'll give it a 9.5/10 for my rating.

No problem. Glad to help out. I posted the rest of the Mane Six that she had done as well. All of her centaur stuff is up on Derpibooru, and don't have her anti-plagiarism watermark signature over them like on DA.
-
The artist had to take a safety precaution and put a signature watermark over it on DA, but this one I found on Derpibooru before she made that security update.

The artist had to put her signature over it on DA to avoid plagiarism, so I found the one without it that was put on Derpibooru before she made that precaution.

The artist who did this had to watermark it on DA to avoid plagiarism. Found it on Derpibooru before the security adjustment.

I wanted to post this since the original one on DA has the artist's signature over it to avoid plagiarism. Found it on Derpibooru.

I might as well join the club with this little piece I found on Derpibooru since the original one by the artist on DA has her signature over it to avoid plagiarism.

I've always loved the Mane Six myself since the show started, and this artist does them in a way that really bolsters my love for them by giving them centaur appearances. Even if the winged ones don't have wings to go with their half-pony selves, they still look great.

spoiler We may know the writer for the finale... (spoiler)
Sonic5421 replied to Unlikeable Pony's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
If Haber is part of writing this finale, it had better redeem him in my eyes for how he treated the Mane Six and Royal Family back in To Where and Back Again, or he's lost all respect from me as a writer for the show. Either he shapes up or ships out with this finale and gives the Mane Six and Royal Family a reason to not be put on the sidelines for most of the finale again. He succeeds, I'll give him another chance as a writer for the show.- 105 replies

Season 7 Waiting Thread (Spoilers)
Sonic5421 replied to FlareGun45's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
That's true, though many Bronies who had questions about how To Where and Back Again went did want answers this season rather than having to wait longer for them, such as how Chrysalis pulled off her plots, whether her actions have affected the Mane Six and Royal Family in any way psychologically, and how they'll plan to deal with her when she returns for her revenge in the future.- 446 replies

Season 7 Waiting Thread (Spoilers)
Sonic5421 replied to FlareGun45's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Yeah, I read about it on Equestria Daily. Something regarding the Legends of Magic comic series, but that's it. I was hoping for some sort of closure to the events from To Where and Back Again regarding Chrysalis getting her revenge on Starlight for ruining her revenge on the Mane Six and Royal Family regarding Shining Armor and Cadance's wedding.- 446 replies

Think S7's finale will air before the movie?
Sonic5421 replied to Unlikeable Pony's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
If the USA sticks to one new episode a week, they will be at episode 21 of Season 7 the weekend of t he movie's debut in October, so the season will finish while the movie is still in theaters, if not during the hiatus for when it comes out on DVD and Blu-Ray.- 17 replies

Will Larson, Meghan, or AKR ever come back?

Will Larson, Meghan, or AKR ever come back?
Sonic5421 replied to CastletonSnob's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
When you put it that way, I guess she does have a better job now once the movie's behind her with overlooking all girl shows. Sorry for if I said something wrong in my original post. -
Well, this was a good way to tie the first two specials in with also granting Sunset a chance to return home to Equestria while Starlight got a chance to experience being human herself like Princess Twilight did. It was clear that Juniper was already on a knife's edge with her sanity because of her being fired by her uncle and kicked off the movie lot, and seeing the joint Rainbooms/Shadowbolts music video did not help matters. Once that mirror was imbued with Equestrian magic from the leaking portal, Juniper really started to lose it as she kept seeing her dream self in it. Things only got worse once the Rainbooms entered the Canterlot Mall Theater to get ready for the premiere, and Rainbow tripped Juniper's Berserk Button by reminding her it was her own fault she was fired by her uncle, causing her to use the mirror to trap them in limbo. Once Sunset learned what happened and tried to talk Juniper down, Juniper, already unhinged and on the verge of total insanity, traps Sunset with the rest of the Rainbooms, causing their geodes from the events of Legend of Everfree to imbue Juniper with more magic, turning her into a corrupted giant version of her dream self, leaving it up to Starlight to talk her down and convince her to turn back before it was too late. Thankfully, Starlight was able to talk Juniper back to her senses, and Juniper reversed all the damaged she caused, saving the Rainbooms from who knows what had the limbo dimension collapsed with them still in it, and returning Juniper to normal, and being very repentant over her actions. As a result, the Rainbooms forgive her, and she becomes a new friend, while Starlight is allowed some more time with Sunset and the others by Princess Twilight before returning to Equestria. I really enjoyed this last special, and I'll give it a 9.5, maybe a 10/10.

Will Larson, Meghan, or AKR ever come back?
Sonic5421 replied to CastletonSnob's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Meghan will probably come back after the movie is dealt with. She's been busy working on that for most of the time, so once the movie's out of the way, she'll probably return to the show and resume being head writer again.
