  1. Judging from how so many people in the Brony Community like them, and wondering what became of them after losing their pendants that provided them their powers, I also wonder if we'll see Adagio, Aria, and Sonata again, whether they've reformed for the better and want to use their restored powers for good like Star Swirl hoped, or like Chrysalis, are seeking revenge on the Rainbooms at costing them everything but their lives, those being their powers, the gems, and their adoration.
  2. I'll probably catch it on opening weekend at the earliest as I don't think I'll be able to make the premiere night.
  3. Yeah, this really made up for how she was treated in the Season 6 finale as Flurry Heart and her parents got a lot of screen time in this episode, along with some character development, and bonding time between Flurry and Auntie Twilight.
  4. Yeah, they got some good development, and I do love how while one minute they wanted to get Flurry Heart off of their backs for a while, looking at Spearhead's art reminded them so much of her that they missed her dearly, and Spearhead was totally fine with allowing them to leave early to go back to her, understanding their feelings after seeing how his art spoke to them. Flurry may run them ragged, but Cadance and Shining Armor still love her very deeply.
  5. I know, kind of nice they brought that look back for Cadance and Shining Armor at the start of A Flurry of Emotions before having them revert back to their regular looks for the rest of the episode.
  6. Actually, I think that's their worn down look that they had after her birth back in The Crystalling. Even with her magic in better control, she's still running them ragged.
  7. This was a good episode for Cadance, Shining Armor, and Flurry Heart to have their first major speaking appearance this season. We got some comedy out of Pinkie Pie, especially with being prepared for putting together apology packages, Flurry Heart was being the same mischievous tyke she wants to be, and we see just how much Cadance, Shining Armor, and Twilight care for Flurry Heart, especially after Twilight yelled at Flurry Heart and hurt her feelings and frightened her. Everyone learned a valuable lesson from this regarding Flurry Heart and finding time to spend quality time with her and warn Twilight in advance of an impending babysitting duty, and I really liked the episode. I give this episode a 9.5/10. I would give it a perfect 10, but something about Pinkie's apology logo just did not click with me.
  8. Today's new episode was humorous, especially with Flurry Heart in it. Too bad her first play time with the Cake siblings went badly when she tried to compromise with them.

  9. Agreed. The new writers for Season 7 gave us some character development that was long overdue after Celestia's treatment in recent seasons like Season 6.
  10. I'm not sure where my post on my favorite episodes here, if I even posted one, is situated, but I'm adding Celestial Advice to the list as Celestia got some well-deserved character development there that was a long time coming, and after how she was treated in To Where and Back Again, she certainly deserved it.
  11. That I'm willing to fully agree with. Celestia had this a long time coming, especially after her treatment in To Where and Back Again with the rest of the Royal Family and Mane Six.
  12. Great way to start off Season 7 and redeem Celestia's treatment in the Season 6 finale with having plenty of screen time and dialogue for her along with a side of her we've not seen before.

  13. Okay, after watching the first episode of Season 7 with Celestial Advice, that episode, for the most part, redeemed To Where and Back Again somewhat in my eyes with making up for Celestia's treatment there by having her in a more active role here as Twilight turned to her for advice, and we get to see some character development for Celestia that probably had been a long time coming. It may not have been a full Celestia-themed episode, but it still made up for To Where and Back Again as Nicole Oliver really gave Celestia a workout here. I loved her laugh as we've never heard Celestia laugh that heartily before, and some backstory regarding Celestia's point-of-view regarding sending Twilight to Ponyville back in the season premiere. One look at the Mare In The Moon, and Celestia tearfully knew what she had to do. She even spoke to Mayor Mare about it, and got a first-hand look at the Element of Harmony bearers that would become Twilight's best friends as well. Then we get her paranoia about what Twilight might encounter in Ponyville, such as the Manticore or Tartarus, and her heartbreak when she finally watched Twilight leave to begin the Summer Sun Celebration preparations in Ponyville. Truly a heartwarming moment between the Princess of the Sun and the Princess of Friendship. Also, glad to see that we still got that awards ceremony to thank Starlight's Suicide Squad for having helped save the Mane Six and Royal Family from Chrysalis and turned one of Equestria's most feared enemies into one of their most powerful allies as well, and everyone was there to celebrate, including Mayor Mare, Double Diamond and the others from Starlight's old village, Cadance and Shining Armor with Sunburst, the Crusaders, and a few of the reformed Changelings as well. They seem to be doing a pretty good job making amends with everypony and integrating into pony society. As for the second episode, All Bottled Up, it was nice to see the Mane Six taking some time to go on a Friendship Retreat to Manehattan while Trixie and Starlight looked after the castle. Also, nice to see how when Starlight loses her temper at Trixie, it manifests as a red storm cloud that she tries to control before resorting to bottling it up, which only drains her physically and magically, so when the bottle breaks and infects Bulk, Granny Smith, and the jeweler with her anger, Trixie suffers the inevitable wrath before Starlight regains enough strength to recall it and give Trixie a good tongue-lashing ending in her famous "QUIET!!!" look from The Cutie Map. Either way, Starlight and Trixie reaffirm their friendship won't be broken by things like anger and ignorance, the Mane Six enjoy themselves while getting a reality check about songs being at the wrong place at the wrong time, and things went pretty well in this episode. I think I'll give Celestial Advice a 10/10 for really making up for Celestia's treatment in To Where and Back Again, and a 9.5/10 for All Bottled Up as we got some nice banter regarding Trixie and Starlight. Not a bad way to start off a fresh season of Friendship is Magic after what I thought of the previous season finale.
  14. Well, the primary characters should be the Mane Six and Royal Family to make up for the events of A Canterlot Wedding and To Where and Back Again since it was them that the Changelings have caused the most trouble and grief to when serving under Chrysalis. Once they manage to make amends with them, they can then work on making friends with the rest of Equestria, especially the ponies in Canterlot that they scared the daylights out of during the Royal Wedding attack.
  15. My favorites are the Royal Family, but I wish the writers would show some love to them instead of them only being there for exposition, or in the case of the season premieres/finales, either needing to be rescued or just there as part of the story. To Where and Back Again really was a knife to the gut for me regarding how the Royal Family and Mane Six were treated there. I hope Season 7 makes up for it in a major way.
  16. As long as the writers don't keep screwing them over when it comes to battling the big bad villains of the series.
  17. Well, Season 7 is this Saturday. Let's hope what happens in the premiere is enough to convince me to stomach watching To Where and Back Again after that.

  18. I actually watch PAW Patrol myself when Friendship is Magic is on hiatus. Alongside some other shows, they help keep my mind thinking about other things until the next season of Friendship is Magic debuts. Though I still have my questions and concerns regarding the events of the Season 6 finale, I'm sure they will be answered over the course of Season 7.
  19. Thanks for the support regarding my questions about the Sun and Moon. Appreciate it.
  20. Well, I'm sure a lot of us who had concerns and questions about the events in To Where and Back Again would like them to be resolved at some point in Season 7. We know that the premiere will open with Starlight's Suicide Squad been rewarded for saving Equestria from Chrysalis, along with the sorry flanks of the Mane Six and Royal Family as well, but has Chrysalis' two attempts to take Equestria affected the mental state of the Mane Six and Royal Family at all to cause them to begin doubting they can defend Equestria anymore without Rainbow Power or the Elements of Harmony to help them? Chrysalis is still out there, bent on revenge on Starlight, and still on the Mane Six and Royal Family for the defeat at the Royal Wedding in A Canterlot Wedding, and if she still has any Changelings loyal to her that did not reform with Thorax, they would be more than willing to still help their Queen get her vengeance. Not to mention her cunning at being able to pull off two plots without raising any alarms in both cases and nearly succeeding both times as well before a Power of Love Deus Ex Machina ruined it for her. If the Mane Six and Royal Family can remove that one advantage Chrysalis has over them, that being her cunning, scheming mind, they will be able to defeat her once and for all, and I'm hoping that is one thing they can do during the course of Season 7 to clear up any leftover questions that the Season 6 finale left behind.
  21. Yeah, Discord took everyone back to Starlight's old village at her suggestion, and no indication they kicked the Changelings taking their places in Canterlot, Ponyville, and the Crystal Empire out first is shown at all. Did they deal with the Changelings impersonating them off-screen? Did they leave Thorax to deal with them and get them to reform as well? Or did Chrysalis get to them first and retreat with them to plan her revenge on Starlight, the Mane Six, and the Royal Family further down the road? A clear use of the "What Happened to the Mouse?" trope here, and I hope it is answered at some point in Season 7 or later to help bring full closure to the threat Chrysalis still poses to Equestria since she escaped to plan her revenge once more.
  22. That is a good question that would be worth answering in the show. Remember, when they were kidnapped, did that mean that the Sun and Moon could no longer be controlled and remained where they were at the time of the kidnapping? Or could they still move under their own power without their respective Princesses to control them while they were prisoners of Chrysalis? A good question worth answering sometime.
  23. We all know Chrysalis not only is gunning for revenge on Starlight, but she still has to get her revenge on the Mane Six and Royal Family from her defeat at the Royal Wedding since Starlight ruined her first attempt at it. If Starlight and the others can't figure out a way to be able to outsmart Chrysalis, since that's how she nearly won in the previous two attempts, by outsmarting the Mane Six and Royal Family, third time Chrysalis tries for Equestria, she might just succeed that time and get her revenge all at once, then no one will be able to stop her. Plus, with nothing to lose this time, Chrysalis is more dangerous than ever as there is nothing more dangerous than a villain who has nothing to lose now and pretty much would be performing a suicide attempt in a desperate gamble to attain total victory.
  24. Okay, okay, you've made your point. Perhaps this is the first time we get two episodes for the premiere where it is not a two-part premiere like in the past six seasons. Still, will be interesting to see how Season 7 goes following these first two episodes regarding Twilight and Starlight with Starlight being entrusted with her own future.
  25. Sounds good to me, but Starlight still has to remember that Chrysalis is gunning for her, along with the Mane Six and Royal Family as Chrysalis will still want revenge for the Royal Wedding defeat, so not only does Starlight need to stay on her toes, but so do all her friends she's made, both new and old, as well.
