  1. At the beginning, I'd like to highlight the purpose of the post. Letting out all the things I wanted to say, and checking if anyone feels the same. Right now I'm listening to my secret stache of chill tracks, cuz I would probably implode and cause a dark hole to appear and destroy Earth. Starlight and Trixie as main characters; being friends. Well, I hate them. Mostly Trixie. Leave these tomatoes in peace. While watching, I was talking so much (I always talk to myself) I actually became sweaty. Commenting on the attitude both Starlight and Trixie had (it was mostly irrational) probably took me the same amount of time as actually watching the episode. Twily, you were right all along! Why should we trust someone who is mentally unstable and is going to destroy lifes of them innocent ponies because of any little offense to their huuuge ego? Was this episode bad? Nope, it was great! Well, at least it was funny. And the funniest moment was when Trixie said that she was using Starlight. This whole situation was ridiculous. Is my approach towards the problems of two main ponies of the episode justified? Do you feel the same? Or is my opinion just biased as hell?
  2. It's time for Luna to overshadow Celestia, since she was the overshadowed one historically.
  3. I'm 100% fine with homosexuals, but going the LGBT route in show would probably be catastrophical, so I'd like to have canon Lyra x Bon Bon, that would show the audience that no pony care about what orientation other pony is, and also would subtly fit into the show. Other than that, Cheerilee x Big mac. That's so obvious man. Vast amount of people say that being under the effect of love poison does not equal relationship, but yo, she wasn't under this effect when she did that lol
  4. My parents know, they don't care. I didn't tell'em like "mom, dad, I'm brony" cuz that would be weird, I just let them know in a conversation. I told my best friend and I'm open about it to other friends I talk with and play games, but I don't say it in school. My reputation in school is somewhat "we don't bully you, basically we like you, but you won't ever be cool, so stick to us and don't do anything stupid" so I don't want to suddenly be picked on for being a brony.
  5. Could you please draw my OC? I suck at drawing so there's an image from pony creator. His cutie mark, which is not there, is a heart made of fire (or heart surrounded by fire, which one's easier for you)
  6. Yeah, dem marshmallows flying around. Cuz it's sure not blood.
  7. I understand that some of us want male main characters because they want equal treatment of our gender, but we bronies are males interested in girl show after all and we were fine with it to this point, so let's keep being awesome and leave things as they are.
  8. 1.Warframe prime parts drop cheatsheet 2.141 music production tips 3.Glossary of electronic music terms 4.Youtube with ponies sliding into a box :3
  9. Sunset Shimmer has to return to Equestria. Even though I love her, I understand why she's not that appealing to others due to her sometimes bland depiction. What this character has, it's awesome backstory, and I NEED to see her meeting Celestia again
  10. Yeah but Sunset's my waifu Nah, really, for some reason Sunset's much more appealing to me than Starlight, even though they are supposed to be the same (Sunset Shimmer - Starlight Glimmer, really?).
  11. I can't even imagine how terrible it would be to be forced to eat the same thing over and over again. But, I'll go with lasagne.
  12. God no, Starlight having an Element. Dude. That's one horrible vision.
  13. That's exactly why we (I) don't want her to become a Wonderbolt. Besides the fact that being in Wonderbolts is a job like being in military and (if writers wanted to be realistic, which they don't aim to) she wouldn't have time for her friends, it's exactly it what you pointed out. She's too good for them. Even if she wasn't superior to them in flying, which she is, (why don't they want to recruit the only pony on the planet who is able to break the barrier of sound?) she still is superior to them in terms of personality traits. Obviously she, as a member of the main cast, is really developed in this case, but it's not the point. Since some point in the show, I think it was S4, Wonderbolts are presented as a bunch of jerks. Rarity Investigates, where is the "innocent until proven guilty"? Instead, there is the "guilty until proven innocent" wtf (ping). Rainbow Falls, are you really trying to replace your friend with someone superior by using manipulation, even though you're still the sole professional group amongst groups of ammateurs (ping)? Wonderbolts Academy, why do you keep justifing actions of someone who gets others in danger, until RD shows you that you are stupid (ping)? RD should tell'em that she doesn't want to belong to a group of churls.
  14. You're right, all I wanted to do was show my personal view on Chrysalis. About lyric fitting the rhythm and melody the most: I'm pretty convinced that it's exactly that. But that's the thing with mlp analyzing, it's nearly always overanalyzing. What's the point in thinking about "Is the dream world real" or "How do ponies get their names" if we all know that it's just how writers created this world and they didn't think about why. The fun is in finding reasons within the fictive world.
  15. Before the season 6 aired, there were many voices (a little of mine, too) saying that they are worried about it because of some good writers leaving the show. How do you feel about this season so far? Besides ep.1&2 (which weren't THAT bad, they were pretty good), we got 3 episodes which really pleased me. Maud episode was really fun, CMC dealt with the job problem really well, and Gauntlet of Fire was one REALLY GOOD SPIKE EPISODE. Didn't see that coming. Do you think that the season will keep up the good work? And do you really think that it was good work?
  16. Granted, I edited the post to make it easier to read. I sometimes forget about keeping my writing clear, either it's for the layout or my horrible handwriting in real life
  17. Even though I'm REALLY struggling with choosing my favourite pony, I think that I can say it's Shining Armor. I (would like to) relate to him the most. He is everything I'd like to be: good older brother, loving husband, caring dad and a total dork.
  18. While elaborating on the subject, please keep in mind that someone can view your choice in a different light, and so can you. Also, you don't have to choose your favourite antagonist. You can like a particular villain just because they speak to you, while thinking that other one is more complex. Even though I know that most people will probably go with Discord, I came up with an idea of this post thinking about Queen Chrysalis. Besides being my favourite villain, she impressed me with her role in Canterlot Wedding, the same role many fans viewed as series of horrible decisions. I'll try to explain my choice. Starting at the begining, the operation of kidnapping Cadance and getting in her place. While we don't really know anything about how was it executed, the act alone is interesting. Although she surely made a good research of Canterlot, ponies she was to meet and dangers that awaited her, she was destined to arouse suspicions on Twilight's side, because she couldn't know about that little fact being Cadance and Twilight's special greeting. From this point on, she acted in a way that everyone, not knowing her personally, viewed as 100% normal, while further infuriating Twilight, leading to her being left alone by her friends and mentor. After getting rid of the most obvious problem, she continued striving to accomplish her goal with Elements of Harmony not being a problem anymore as the Mane6 wasn't complete. Then we get to the point, when she revealed herself and started this monologue, which was often critisized for showing everyone her plans. However, if we look at it knowing, that her whole army was nearly ready to begin invasion on Canterlot, she was probably buying time. After excellently securing the Elements with most of her subjects while buying more time and tiring Mane6 with a small unit, she was in a position in which her taking over Canterlot and probably Equestria was so real, the writers had to deus ex machina her out of the episode. That wall of text was about Chrysalis being an excellent tactician. But what makes her more likeable and deep? The thing that differs her from villains like Tirek, King Sombra and (please don't kill me) Discord is her motivation to do evil things. All Tirek wanted was power and destroying the world of ponies because he was evil. King Sombra wanted power and control over others. Discord, while being really complex in other aspects, did all the evil things because he was born into it. His nature as a spirit of chaos made him doing chaos things. Queen Chrysalis on the other hand, had to invade ponies to provide living for her beloved subjects. In my favourite song in the show, This Day Aria, she doesn't sing she has a cold heart or no heart. She singed "in my heart there is no room". That leaves us with a tip that she considers herself mostly a mother, and cares mostly about her children. Did you have the patience to go through all of my scribble? Leave your explanations of the most complex villain below.
  19. That's not like our Great and Beloved Ruller Princess Trollestia rather chooses to keep all the VERY IMPORTANT details and information to HERSELF. Gee golly gosh Y U DO THAT PRINCESS?
  20. Even though Sunset returning to Equestria is on my list of "things I will die when I see them cuz it would be so awesome", she's one of Twilight's BFF's so Twilight wouldn't mind if she was to be friends with Starlight. The most possible one is Trixie, and it hurts cuz I hate her.
  21. Ever since I've seen Lauren Faust talking about the vision she had for each of Mane6, I had doubts about her opinion. I want to talk especially about RD joining the wonderbolts. Anyone else not seeing it at all? As far as I'm concerned, being a part of a professional sport team would take basically all of her time. Probably everyday trainings, often shows given around Equestria, it would be really RUINOUS for her friendship with the rest of Mane6. Looking at one of my favourite episodes, Wonderbolts Academy, being in the mentioned academy consumed all of her time to the point she wasn't even in Ponyville for the time the episode was going on. And what do you guys think about it?
  22. The best part of living in Equestria is living in Equestria, so I wouldn't be missing anything.
  23. I'm not really sure what do you mean, if I understand, would I want to be born as a female magical pony instead of male human? Yeah I guess I would.
  24. Flurry Heart aka buy our toys ruined power level so much. Really, baby that nearly destroyed whole kingdom and is more powerful than princesses sounds like some really bad OC. But no, it's official character. About Celestia and Luna, I'm willing to believe that they were born alicorns sometime before Equestria. If they aren't natural, my whole life is a lie.
