It’s not really about womens’ safety as much as a bunch of frustrated feminists dreaming up yet another way they can enforce “equality” by ignoring actual equal rights. If they want to target the entire male gender as criminal and untrustworthy, they’d better wake up from their little dream world and try reality on for size. If these women want to do something proactive about safety after hours, they might consider a little common sense, a self-defense seminar and a can of mace.
