  1. I was vacuuming my room. Crumbs and little particulates everywhere!
  2. You read my mind! It always hits me late at night. Sometimes I'm not even hungry. Like you said, it could be stress, eating schedule or sometimes I'm watching a really good show or movie and that always makes me want to eat just to heighten the enjoyment of it. I always have an excuse ready for why it's okay 'just this once' but it's not really okay because eating late at night before I go back to sleep means all those calories are going to go straight to my waistline. Sometimes if I brush my teeth early I think it'll discourage me from snacking, but it doesn't. Oh well, looks like a few extra minutes on the elliptical machine to work it off. How sad it is.
  3. If I ordered apple slices with it there would no longer be an issue.
  4. Star Wars. Who's your favorite background Equestria Girl?
  5. I can deal with the horn, and the fangs, but those penetrating red eyes, no. I'm screwed.
  6. Blue and white striped shirt and white capris. Bare feet at the moment.
  7. I dislike it when politics get into anything. It's tiresome and gets more than enough coverage on the news. I like my entertainment to be free of it. Simple as that.
  8. Heh, Lesson Zero and Magical Mystery Cure are my two favorites, and the former is the first episode I ever saw and responsible for getting me into it. I think it shows a nice glimpse of each character and what their personalities are. Granted, Magical Mystery Cure shows the characters already well advanced in terms of their development so I wouldn't pick that as an intro. When I introduced my brother to the show I showed him Party of One, which he liked, but after he saw Friendship is Magic 1&2 he said they were better for getting to know the show, which stands to reason.
  9. He's the reason I don't order the Quarter Pounder with Cheese anymore. I've moved up in the world, thanks to you, Big Mac.
  10. Mine is afraid of worms and accidentally stepping on them. They're so icky and slimy, she wants no part of that business, thank you.
  11. I collect an absurd amount of Star Wars stuff. I pick up a lot of Disney stuff as well but that's just for fun. Star Wars collecting is a way of life.
  12. I always thought the fandom was mostly male (like a good 60% at least). Isn't that what all the silly fuss was about, so many guys liking a girl show? I expected more than 30% boys and obviously quite a few more grown men. ^This sounds about right.
  13. I never even heard about the fandom till after I watched my first few episodes (which started with Lesson Zero, discovered on TV by accident one boring night). I told my brother about this cool new show I found and he told me there was a big fandom around it. I looked into it and soon got swept up in all the fun. Never looked back.
  14. Knight and Day and Despicable Me 2. Both quite a lot of fun.
  15. Wow, so many veterans here! I spent three years on another pony forum but I've only been here for a little over a year. I'm like a virgin here!
  16. Just wondering why all the ziplock bags in my freezer balloon up and take up all the room in there. Shouldn't they shrink up instead? Aren't things supposed to shrink when they're cold?
  17. I really dislike know-it-alls who actually know nothing. KInda like me.
  18. I always watch the fireworks at Disneyland, which are amped up a bit for the fourth. I don't know if they're the world's best (and kinda doubt it) but they're nice and I always enjoy the show. It's a fixture of my fourth of July festivities.
  19. You've only been here for a short time but you already seem like a major fixture, and a welcome one! And I certainly wouldn't say you're not popular. You're awesome.
  20. Exactly true. I have no probs with age gaps of any kind. If it's love, it's love. And one nice thing is that it's not based so much on how young, hot, popular or 'cool' a person is; it's more about what's on the inside and what each half of the couple sees in the other. My parents are ten years apart in age and it was never a problem. No reason it should be. It's all about maturity and personal chemistry. Back in the old, old days (I'm talking old west stuff) girls sometimes married at age fifteen, and often to mature men. One of my own distant ancestors was married as a very young teenager to an older man, and not because she 'had to' but because she chose to. She was ready for marriage at an early age because she had the mental maturity for it, as many girls did back then. I think marrying for love and not for image is a beautiful thing. I'm all for it.
  21. There seems to be some opposition here about people with a bad moral compass being kept alive in the event that all disease was eradicated. Yet what is moral about someone who would appoint themselves judge and jury to the point of letting them, or anyone else, die if they didn't have to? And what about the people with a good moral compass? Surely they have a right to live. The fact is, everyone has the right to live and if anyone has the ability to ease suffering and save lives it's their duty to carry out that ability. Doctors who try to save lives aren't considered a liability to humankind because the people they save may inadvertently help spread disease throughout the world or cause suffering in any of countless possible ways. It's the price of doing business on planet earth. And having more people doesn't just mean there's a potential for more bad things, but also a potential for more good things. Overpopulation isn't the problem it's often made out to be. You could fit the entire population of the world in the state of Florida. So, quite a bit of extra space if it really gets down to it. The bottom line here is that lives are important, whether we always agree with that fact or not. If given the opportunity to eradicate disease, I would do it without hesitation.
  22. I just had a late night snack of leftovers, but a cream puff for dessert would go down real smooth.
